“excellent hotel, very reasonable priced”

Security was good, great lobby, good breakfast, very friendly at front desk. The room is not large, and no closet., but It did have a clothes rack in the corner and the room was very clean. I go to Waco at least twice a year. I will now stay at this hotel and recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Best-Kept Secret in Central Texas!”

Wow! Given the rate I paid, I really did not expect the quality of service I received during my stay at the Waco Super 8 Motel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was comfortable. The motel was located nearby so many places to eat, but I was extremely satisfied with the continental breakfast. But most of all, I felt very secure during my stay. Just a superior job all the way around! I will DEFINITELY be back!

“Great for Budget Lodging”

Great staff, clean, large room, good but modest breakfast. The only negative issue was the tables were not cleaned at breakfast because the attendant was busy chatting with the desk clerk.

I've stayed in the "big name" hotels and not had as nice a visit. The people at the front desk were friendly, personable, and very helpful. Why pay more for stuck up front desk people? I was in town for a conference, and will stay here every year.

“Carry proof of payment”

Everything was great except being tired after a long drive and being told we had to pay for our room which was prepaid. The clerk on duty was very pleasant and knew how to find the record but it took a while. When you are ready to fall down having to wait seems like forever. She recommended a great close restaurant so we were impressed with her knowledge of the area. The restaurant had a golf cart to bring you in from the parking lot, wonderful for tired hungry travelers.

This hotel was a great value. Our room was clean, the staff were friendly and the location was great. The hotel is not up-to-date in some respects, but very well maintained. The breakfast was a nice surprise.

The Super 8 is a clean, modest hotel that may not have too many frills but is comfortable and pleasant with just the right amenities. There is a computer in the lobby you can use if you need it. Our room was clean and both beds were comfortable. The AC definitely worked well and the bathroom was great. I liked having the mini-fridge. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, but if you like a big breakfast you might want to plan on going out. They had raisin bran, frosted flakes, toast, bagels, cake donuts and waffles, and some bananas and boiled eggs. Coffee is pretty good too. Great stay for the cost, but if you have got to have a bunch of luxuries you may want to look elsewhere.
