time warp

Posted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a decent enough $45 hotel. Trouble is, we paid about twice that. It is amazingly outdated, as in window unit AC built into the wall, and microwave with a dial. But the bed was fine, the water was hot, and there were lots of cable channels (after the clerk came up and reinstalled the cable) We only ever saw one person working, and he was never at the front desk. But, he would come immediately when you called from the desk. All in all a bit of a surreal experience, but it served the purpose.

It was close to our event; staff was friendly.

Pros: The man that checked us in to the hotel.
Cons: Please dust the bathroom and remove the spider webs. Make sure the Kleenex boxes are filled, and put more than two pillows on the king-sized beds.
Location: The location was fine for what we were doing, and there was not much nearby.
The man that checked us in was very nice. There were spider webs in the bathroom, and the Kleenex box was empty. The pillows and bed were not very comfortable. There were not enough towels in the room for both my fiancé and I to take showers on the same night.

disappointed they knew we were coming they could of turned on the heat the room was so cold. It all so stated coffee maker and microwave in rooms and there was none. I would of brought mine I need microwave for medical reasons that is why I chose them. I was up half of the night because I did not have it I had to keep heating wash clothes in hot water

Wconia for a wedding.

Pros: It was close to everything we needed and it was personable and perfect for our needs!
Cons: The carpeting in the suite could stand to be replaced, but other than that it was a great place to stay and affordable!
Location: Very good location.
Upon checking in the manager Aaron placed us in a room that was much large and with more comfort, At first there seemed to be a mix up, but in the end Aaron was great with getting straighten out! Big thumbs up to the hotel manager!

Comfortable bed and nice clean room. The inside of the hotel was clean and well maintained. Could use new pillows and towels. Great value.

Not sure how this was rated a 4 out of 5 hotel

Pros: only that it was in the same town as the wedding we attended.
Cons: cleanliness of room- Dirty Kleenexes on floor. Safety of room- windows did not lock and the hotel gave you a stick to put in the window
Location: n/a, we were there for a wedding
very taken back from moment walked into hotel. Was not expecting the Ritz for the approximate $100 but was expecting a clean, well maintained hotel. The check in process was unorganized at best, our reservation was hand written on a piece of paper.

Reasonable value for the money

Posted Aug 27, 2013
There were no towels in the room, no glasses either. The breakfast selection was six or seven types of sweet rolls or doughnuts, three sweetened cereals, and white flour bagels. I would have been grateful for something that wasn't loaded with sugar plus some peanut butter for the bagels. Google maps botched the directions by not listing the road names on which we needed to turn to find E. Frontage Road. The web site's small map didn't have this information either. We did find the motel after asking at a gas station which sent us to the wrong place, then phoning the motel. Having said all that, this motel is good value for the money spent.
