Nice hotel on beach

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Cons: Our room's bathroom contained a very dated bath tub, very rough tub bottom. Would have preferred a updated tub and eliminated electronic toilet seat.
Nice hotel on beach and close to mall. Our room was a tower location, a bit dated for Westin quality.

Great location

Posted Mar 26, 2015
This hotel was nice and had a great location. The pool is not as impressive as the picture but if you like the beach it doesn't matter. The food was pricy, and not worth the $$ however the cocktail selection was good. The fish tacos were not fresh and the steak was small. Rooms were small but clean. I was able to upgrade my parents to a larger room with a lanai which was nice. Many nice public places onsite to gather the family before going out. Staff was great. This hotel is very historic and has been kept up well. Great sunset views from the back where the bar and outdoor dining was located. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. A little tricky if you have a car. Parking is included in the resort fee but is across the street at the sister hotel. Driveway access to the front of the hotel was like driving downtown Chicago.

Beautiful hotel on Waikiki Beach--lots to do!

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: The is a hotel with long history on Waikiki Beach. It has been very well updated and maintained. Meeting under the Banyan tree is relaxing!
Location: Up-scale shopping and restaurants are nearby. All major tourist excursions can pickup/drop off at hotel. Beach is also awesome!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel on Waikiki Beach. There is lots to do, and the beach is also beautiful with small waves enjoyed by the many beginning surfers.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros:
Cons: ありません
Location:

25th wedding holiday

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: friendly staff from hotel staff, reception, cleaner, waiters, bar service.
Cons: The cost of hiring umbrella & chair for 1/2 day was overpriced for time allowed
Location: Located on centre of Waikiki beach, with shopping along main street directly out front close proximity to all restaurants
from the moment you enter this resort you get excellent service, friendliness and convenience to all main restaurants & services in main centre of Waikiki.

Location close to everything. Right on beach.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: For an older hotel, 104 years old, it was in perfect condition. You would never guess it was this old except for looking at some of the old trees.
Cons: We didn't learn about the beach house upgrade option until the second to last day. It provided breakfast and evening snacks. Wish we knew earlier.
Location: Close to everything. Right downtown so a little busy but considering it was March break we never had to wait for more than 10 minutes at restaurants.
The staff were very accommodating and one thing that surprised me was the check in. Sometimes when booking through Expedia I find that hotels do not offer too many options upon check in as the room was already booked and paid for. When we checked in they did not have a really good room that could accommodate our 4 some (me and my wife, 16 year son, 12 year old daughter) so they did offer us some upgrade options which was nice. In fact the option we chose was a one bedroom suite which was just awesome, beautiful views of the beach, two balconies, big and roomy etc.

Close to beach and centrally located

Posted Mar 19, 2015
We stayed 7 nights , the beds were very comfortable but rooms are generally small and bathrooms are tiny! Food in hotel restaurants was very expensive and we did not eat there at all. Pool area quite small and pool chairs are definitely at a premium, if you are not there by 8 am you wont get one. Staff was helpful and friendly and the hospitality room for late flights was excellent.

Pleasant location to stay at , one of the resorts with access to beach. The resort is also located in an area where major tourist attractions are located included high end shops and restaurants highly recomended by locals .
