Great facility and beautiful location. We were looking forward to a great restful last night on Kauai. We were glad our room had A/C and it seemed to be working well when we checked in. However, in the middle of the night it stopped working and our room became quite hot. The attendant at the counter when we checked out said they would have maintenance staff check into it. That was it. Didn't real seem like it was a big deal to him. It ended up being a disappointing stay.

The people who gave bad reviews had super high standards.
They were obviously expecting a super fancy resort with all kinds of extra amenities.
I was very pleased with Mokihana. It reminded me of a bed and breakfast.
My room had the same kind of cozy feel I would have at home.
I didn't spend my days there. I was out and about exploring the island.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel that is clean, comfy, safe, and a good price.

Across the street is an excellent restaurant, perhaps the best on Kauai.
The staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. I made a mistake in the booking dates which they overlooked and assisted us in getting an extra night at a very reasonable price.

We were very comfortable with the suite and its location. It had all the essential amenities that we required. The view is wonderful and access to the beach was great. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We were happy with everything about the suite.

Got a condo with ocean view and reasonably furnished kitchen as promised. Rooms are maintained very well. Internet was not available in the both the condos we stayed in the one week we stayed. One of them had a modem but the hotel staff could not get the security code from the condo owner. Cleaning is done only after someone checks out from the condo for which nan additional amount was charged which was of course mentioned in Expedia's hotel information. Very quite location, no A/C only fans bur in the winter AC is not required. We were able to make our own breakfast and some minimum cooking which was very useful. Overall enjoyed the stay.

Located on the south end of the famed Coconut Coast, Wailua sits at the mouth of Hawaii’s longest navigable river. This area was once favored by royalty and is dotted with sacred Hawaiian sites. Today, kayakers and adventurers use the town as a base to explore the Wailua River, Wailua Falls, and the 19th-century plantation village of Kapaa.
