"Fantastic Hotel with pleasant surprises"
We arrived early in the morning just disembarking from a Cruise ship and was going to see if they could take our bags and come back later to check in, but they were able to check us in early to our pleasant surprise. The Ease of check in and the welcoming large room was a great start to our day in New York. We were offered coffee, water, juice, and munchies for no additional charge as well as a wine hour. Unbelievable as one week earlier we stayed on the Upper West Side in another hotel which was very disappointing and we paid much more for much less. Although this hotel is in the Financial District its ease to get on the subway a few blocks away to Downtown Manhattan is well worth the extra time it takes to get to the popular areas such as Times Square. Just hop on the 4 or 5 and in 10 minutes your there. We could walk to the waterfront and Freedom Tower as well as being around the corner from the New York Stock Exchange. Excellent experience, would stay there again in a heart beat.

"New York Experience October 2014"
Fantastic 5 day's spent in the 'Big Apple' most of the major tourist sites visited Statue Of Liberty, Ground Zero, Empire Estate, Grand Central Station, Macey's, Central Park, China Town, Little Italy & lots more in between, with great weather to boot. Great food, friendly people in general, a perfect short break...............a place everyone should visit at least once in their lives and when they do stay at the Ritz Carlton, Battery Park. Even the most critical of people of which I am one of them would struggle to find fault with this hotel every effort was made to make you feel welcome & if anyone is worried as I was regarding the tipping etiquette in the States don't be the service was so good all round I wanted to tip these guy's rather than feeling obliged to tip. Although the hotel is situated in the south side of New York there is loads to see & do in the area & 2 main line underground stations, walking distance to take you anywhere you want to go in the City. If in doubt speak to the concierge & they will point you in the right direction. It was nice to get back to the hotel late afternoon / evening away from the hustle & bustle of some of the busier area's of the city & breath a sigh of relief. Should have visited a few day's later to take in the full Halloween celebrations on the 31st of Oct & would advise anyone if they are visiting at that time get over to Greenwich Village & join in the celebrations!!

"Almost perfect"
The room was small with a king bed, but comfortable because it if very close to manhattan chinatown. There was no fridge or microwave, so it limits the room to overnight stay only. That didn't present a problem because that was the purpose of our stay. The breakfast was very good, and there were fruits in the lobby if you had a night time craving.

"Exceeded our expectations!"
My daughter and I checked in on a Wednesday night. Upon our arrival, the very kind staff at the front desk asked if we had stayed with Club Quarters before; since we hadn't, they offered to upgrade our room to one with a better view the following night. We had booked a room with one queen bed. It was perfect and actually offered a nice view of the Financial District; the bed was comfortable and everything was incredibly clean (especially the bathrooms). The next night, however, we were upgraded to a suite-style room on the 18th floor that overlooked the reflecting pools and Freedom Tower. It completely exceeded our expectations and was more than we needed for our 4-night stay. Recommended for any travelers looking for a safe, contemporary, and clean hotel in a great location with fantastic views!

Where to stay in Wall Street

Pocket Guide: Wall Street - Financial District, New York LGBT Welcoming Hotels

Wall Street comes to life before dawn as traders rush to Lower Manhattan to make and break deals. But finance is just one aspect of Lower Manhattan, where colonial churches stand next to skyscrapers. Within the district, rebuilding continues at Ground Zero. At Battery Park, ferries depart for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, America’s beacon of freedom.
