“Definitely worth the money”
Staff was amazing, the room was exactly as described online and it was worth every penny!
“Would recommend!”
Typical Jersey Shore motel. Not new, but clean and affordable. If we planned on hanging out at the hotel all day, this would have been a disappointment, but just needed a place to sleep, shower and change. Worked out very well. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and requests. Was not expecting a high priced, fancier place and after reading other feedback , I was leary, but I would definitely recommend or stay here myself again. We stayed due to a family funeral. The location was great and easy enough to get to restuarants and main highways. Couldn't ask for a better rate, compared to other places at this time of year. Felt safe at this location.
“OK for the money”
Hotel was OK for the cost. Beds were kind of hard, but was in overall clean condition. OK complimentary breakfast.
“Was okay... just don't expect good wi-fi coverage”
The room worked out for my use - a weekend getaway. The pool was well kept. The continental breakfast might have been good but getting there at 8am meant nothing left for me but a banana. The room was comfortable with a good showerhead in the bathroom. My biggest gripe was the wi-fi that was hardly attainable and my room was maybe a little more than halfway back from the office. I had to go outside my room to get connected and then make sure that I didn't leave the table in the room to stay connected at a 1-2MB connection. Overall, I give it a 'C'. Stay if you are looking for a place to sleep and not much else.
“it's ok”
it's clean and staff was courteous. however constant problems with room electronic pass. didn't feel too secure, given single ground-level set up. considering it's cheap, it's ok. good location.
“It's not the RItz”
This is a very basic but run-down-at-the-heels motel. Best for overnights or weekends when you will not spend much time in the room. You get what you pay for, and this place is relatively cheap. I was there in the off-season and it was quiet, but I bet it would be pretty noisy during the summer.
“Not pleased. Avoid this dump”
The beds were saggy. The air conditioner/heater was up so high in the high window we couldn't tell what the dials said, if we were turning something up or down or high or low. This Travelodge seems to be owned and operated by Asian people. Which would have been no problem had they spoken English also. The maintenance guy was arguing---really just shaking his head "NO" when we asked for a space heater. Gotta say the bathroom was simple but in "like new condition. Stay here only if everything else is booked.
“Will never go back”
Excessive noise outside room ALL night. No thermostat on refrigerator in room, can of soda exploded. Thin towels & sheets. No place in bathroom to keep your things--they only had a pedestal sink.
“I do not like this hotel”
Disgusting smell in the room. the dirty water in the pool
“disappointing.”
The staff was very polite and helpful. The condition of the room was disappointing.
