“Austere”

“Great Location. Walking distance to most of downtown.”

We had to stay here because all of the more expensive hotels were booked when we made reservations. We were pleasantly surprised. Tthe place was clean and the wi-fi worked well. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was at least edible, which is what you would expect for this type of hote. The best thing about the place is the location. You're within walking distance to the downtown area, which means we were spared the terrible parking situation on an "event" (Fall Wine Release) weekend.

Area recommendations

Walla Walla has developed some very good restaurants ove the past few years. The Marc, Saffron Mediterranian, and T. Maccaroni's are worth a visit.

“Would recommend”

I had a business trip to Walla Walla and got a good deal for me. My stay was pleasant and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel. If you don't like stairs, I would ask for a 2nd floor room or higher.

“Good option for low price”

Conveniently located off the freeway and close to downtown. Definitely not as nice as other options in the area, but if you are looking for a central place to stay, this is a good option. Free breakfast and wi-fi were nice add-ons.

“nice hotel”

Hotel was better than expected - much nicer than the typical La Quinta. Service was excellent and complementary breakfast was nice. Staff was very responsive. Internet was not working well but the problem was quickly corrected.

“This hotel is a dump...”

The blankets had human hair imbedded....uck...the room as a whole was not very clean. Use this hotel if it is the last place...

While this was a no frills hotel in regard to the appearance it certainly met our needs.

“Pleasant place to stay.”

We had a very pleasant stay from the time we checked in, right up to the time we checked out. The beds were very comfortable, room was clean and fresh smelling. We had some trouble keeping the room warm enough without getting it too hot, as the heater thermostat wasn't working. It was quiet, so we got a good night's sleep after a long trip of snowy and icey roads. We will stay there, again. It is very reasonably priced and fits our budget.

We were there on medical business. Don't know the area well enough to say.

The motel is located very close to VA Medical Hospital, colleges, and many of the tourist attractions.
