was disappointed in breakfast stayed 2 nights and same food both a.m.'s. also on monday was poorly stocked,,,ran low or out of the hot foods. tuesday a.m. a couple brought a small dog into the breakfast area, this was NOT a service dog, was on a leash, but was able to approach close by tables and beg. staff came in and saw the dog and did not ask to have it taken out of dining room. have doubts that we will return and have stayed many times in the past.

Breakfast

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Near good restaurants and downtown Walla Walla
The breakfast was lacking in protein in lack of boiled eggs. Had mcmuffin egg rounds and biscuits but that type of eggs are not always the best or tastiest type of egg. They did have yogurt, and pork sausage, however, everyone doesn't eat pork. All in all the breakfast was good for those who want biscuits or waffles, but not for those who need good edible protein. When a hot breakfast is advertised, it would be nice to have hot boiled eggs as the typical scrambled eggs at motels are dry and not appetizing. Nice motel, good overall breakfast but not for those needing Hot Breakfast with good protein.

Affordable and convenient

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Proximity to town and Hiway but not over the top expensive. Nice and clean, comfortable beds and linens. Great breakfast too!
Close to the Hwy yet no hwy noise. Good for overnight or staying for a few. Good AC without it being too loud. Affordable and easy enough to walk to downtown.

OK Hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Easy commute to our Walla Walla destination.
Cons: Woman at the front desk seemed put out and in a hurry. Spoke so fast that I had to have her repeat most of what she had said. Never smiled.
Spent just one night (8/13/14) at the hotel. Found it to be clean & comfortable. Would have been nice to have had a side chair in the room. All we had was the desk chair. There was clearly room for another chair. The continental breakfast was minimal. No eggs - only protein was greasy sausage.

Hell's Canyon River Run

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: We all loved the breakfast that was included in our reservation. We are telling all our friends about it. The rooms are very spacious.
Cons: The only thing we found unusual was the restaurant closed around 1pm and lounge is closed on Sundays.
Location: The motel is centrally located for local shopping and business.
I reserved 3 rooms for 3 couples for 2 nights. We all found our rooms to be very comfortable and centrally located to the main lobby, restaurant, lounge, and pool. The staff was exceptionally very friendly and helpful in answering any questions we may of had. The motel was located right next to the departure point for Beamers Hell Canyon River Run dock so we could just walk down to our river tour. All six of us would like to express our gratitude to the entire lounge, restaurant staff, and motel.

Snake River Run Trip

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Cons: The air conditioner was a little noisy but not a problem to sleep though.
Location: The location is ideal for downtown shopping and wine tasting.
I would like the motel manager Traci for accommodating a change to one of the rooms we booked at the last minute. The entire staff was very helpful.

Best motel in Walla Walla for the money

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Well, if I had to say something to improve on, I guess it would be the price... but you get what you pay for.
Location: Walla Walla WA had many wineries and historical places to visit.
The staff is always exceptionally helpful and kind. The rooms and facilities are always very clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for.

Ask to stay on the top floor.

Posted Jul 23, 2014
We stayed on the first floor. Basement. After 6 am you can hear the people walking around above us. Horrible night's sleep all around & felt it was a downgrade from the Super 8 we stayed at the night before in Seattle. I doubt I'll stay here again but if I do I will demand the top floor or else will stay somewhere else.

LaQuinta "rocks", but the AC was an issue

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: The AC needs serious work. After all, the outside temperature was 95 degrees, and AC was important for good sleeping.
We had family with us and were visiting others; LaQ was a great place to stay ... SO much better than years past - clean, modern, comfortable, and attractive. Pool was great for the grandkids too. Only problem was the window AC unit - noisy, ineffective and nearly dysfunctional. We requested a "fix", and the staff tried, but didn't get better. Too bad ... otherwise a great stay in a lovely little city.

Nice stay with comfortable beds

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Location / beds
It worked for what we needed. The beds were pretty great, which is often hard to come by in a hotel. It was quiet, too, even though we had a kid and many around us had kids.
