Good all around.

We had coffee in the room and a great variety of things for breakfast. Had a refrigerator for our snacks. Trolley to blues festival right across the street.Beds were comfortable room was clean and the front desk people were helpful. Didn't need anything better than that.

Disappointed

Posted Jul 9, 2015
We had stayed at this hotel before and it was nice. This time, we were a little taken aback...when we walked into the hotel, a smoker was standing in the door way blowing the smoke out but it was coming back into the hotel and half of the hall smelled of smoke. We were on the 2nd floor and the carpets in the hall ways on both floors were severely stained - they need to be steam cleaned. Also, only shampoo and soap were provided - no lotion or conditioner. Room was very clean.

In Need of an Update

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Beautiful location. Nice walking trail nearby.
Cons: Update decor/furnishings.
Overall the hotel was clean enough, but decor/furnishings were old. The room smelled bad. The toilet ran until you jiggled the handle. We arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so it worked out fine for our family, but I would not stay here for anything more than a quick overnight trip.

Try somewhere else

Stayed here before and forgot how noisey it was. Walls are paper thin and old fashioned wall heaters. Needs updating.

Staff was great!

1st we didn't get our discount because we booked through Expedia 2nd we didn't get the room we asked for because we booked through Expedia. 3rd you pay a lot for the type of room you get...a lot. However the one bright spot in an.otherwise depressing experience is the staff. They are happy, helpful and almost make you feel bad you are cranky...almost. I won't ever go through Expedia again. Wasted my hard earned money there in more ways than.one.

Nice quiet hotel with very nice scenery.

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: It was clean, quiet, had nice views and was cheaper than the resort across the street.
Cons: the size of the room could've been larger but overall it was fine.
Location: The location was right across the street from the resort and we were still able to enjoy all the amenities of the resort, and water park.
we enjoyed our stay and it's much cheaper than the resort which was right across the street. Save some money and still enjoy the resorts amenities.
