“Will go back again”

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean and located close to resturants, and the movie theater. The staff were very friendly as well. I was traveling alone and felt very safe staying at this hotel.

“Nice stay in Wallingford”

The hotel lobby is recently updated and is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was quick to respond to requests. The cost of food and snacks in the lobby is excessive but the staff made up for it. We look forward to staying here again.

“Exactly as described with good service.”

The rooms were good sized, bathroom small, but clean. Came with extra chair/couch and good work area. Staff were very friendly. Nice breakfast area and lots of amenities. Easy to find. Easy access from the highway. It snowed overnight and parking lot was clear when we left early in the morning.

Area recommendations

Tried a new restaurant called called The New Place - just down the road and it was cute and food was generous portion, well priced and tasty.

“what a find!”

I chose this hotel due to its' proximity to a softball tournament, and the location was perfect. I could get her there early and return for a coffee in the lobby before heading back to the field. It's in the middle of nowhere but the staff give good directions.

“Good breakfast buffet”

Although this hotel doesn't have a separate restaurant, the buffet was quite good. There was a variety of choices. The seating area was in the hotel lobby, but it felt like a private area in which to dine. During our stay the breakfast was free for 2 adults in the room so it was obviously a very good deal.

“Very pleasant”
