Last Minute Trip

Pros: everything, staff, smiles, fresh clean rooms, oh did I say everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location. Close to Highway, stores, and anything else I may need
I arrived and was greeted with a smile. Was checked in quickly. The room was clean and fresh. The staff through out the whole hotel was exceptional. Very friendly always had smiles on their faces. Pleas forgive me for not remembering the staff member who worked the breakfast she was awesome. She kept up with the pace of visitors. I had to say thank you to her. The cleaning staff was very quiet. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back. Thank you to all the staff at the Fairfield Inn Marriott Wallingford CT. Paula

Good for a quick overnight stay but not for longer

Pros: Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, staff was very friendly, convenient to highway.
Cons: Not much since change in room size would mean a reconstruction of the hotel.
Staff greets you very warmly. Place is very clean. Rooms are too small for my taste. I prefer to stay at Residence Inn. We had a double room and were just there overnight which was enough because a longer stay would have meant a bigger suitcase which the room is not suitable for more than 2 suitcases. It's more of a European standard size room than what we in the States may be more used to. I'd stay again because it was very clean, room was in good condition, and staff was very accommodating.

The staff of the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. There was no air conditioning in the hallways which made it very uncomfortable to walk through. Loved the decor in the rooms. The only problem we had was the mattresses on the beds were slanted toward the center and very uncomfortable.

Courteous, helpful front desk at a very busy time. Clean, neat, and comfortable. Very good value in comparison to other local hotel options.

Good Value, Safe & Clean, Friendly, Helpful Staff

Staff was very friendly and efficient when I checked in - room was very clean and comfortable. Anytime I needed anything (I came back to the hotel after 1 a.m and staff rushed to the door to open it for me) the staff was great. I grew up in Wallingford so I was very familiar with the area. Would definately stay again.
