Dolce La Hulpe Brussels is located in the middle of a forest of beach trees with great walking paths. Very restful. The hotel was new and clean, the room very comfortable, the internet access fine. The restaurant 135 Brasserie was great.

Perfect for corporate meetings
Posted Jan 27, 2012
Pros: The room was great.
Cons: The food is the weakness of this hotel. It is quite o.k., but not good enough for the great dinner.
Location: In the night it might be a problem, as the gps shows the final destination some time before you really arrive into hotel area.
I've chosen this hotel, because having rent-car, wanted to be little outside Brussels, to feel more relaxed and not to have any parking problems. Being threre I discovered, that it would be great for some corporate meetings or trainings, being away for everyday mess, at the same time, being next to the beautiful city of Brussels. The feeling in hotel is really relaxing, even it is quite large. There has been only few people in the swimming pool and saunas.

Not a hotel - a conference venue!
Posted Jan 19, 2012
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Restaurant, bar, endless corridors
Location: In the back of beyond
Tghis was more of a conference centre than a hotel. being outside the city it cost between 35-55 Euros to go anywhere worth visiting! And the taxis the hotel arranged were in very poor condition (on 2 of the 3 I used each car had several warning lights flashing on the dashboard warning of imminent breakdown! The restaurant was like eating in an airport transit area - large, no character, rushed unattentive staff and really keen that everyone had the serve yourself buffet- which was costly! I won't be going back

Pros: The spacous lounges, the pool area.
Cons: carn't think of anything!
Location: Suitable to all areas, very central for Bruxelles, Waterloo, Zaventem Airport, Woluwe, Tevuren, Wavre & many more
Great quiet but convient location. Large, spacious, NOTHING was crowded in, a lot of thought has gone into this to give people comfort, & not sit on top of each other! We toke our 8 year old daughter who loved the room, the large sofa that pulled into her own double, the pool was great. The staff were knowledgeable & able to help ref which foods were suitable for specific food allergies without wandering off to find a chef or a packet to look at ( like they normally do ). Would def go back again if in the area. Well worth the price after comparing to other hotels in the area esp on 2 points, 1 not having to pay for the leisure faciliities, 2 the kids could share the room. Easy access to Waterloo, Bruxelles, Wavre, Woluwe, the airport & many more

really awful experience, most unprofessional staff I have come accross. rude beyond belief, overheard one of of the staff talking about me in the most direspectuf manner as I would not get out of the taxi fast enough. Mice invested terrasse when i told the waiter I wanted to sit back inside I was told that i should have expected this as I chose a hotel in a forest setting.. . No further comments!

Disappointing
Posted Jan 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
We booked an executive room, hoping for a relaxing evening in a pretty rural setting. Unfortunately the room we were allocated was on the ground floor overlooking the car park, so the lovely forest view was somewhat spoiled by all the cars... The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and wasn't fixed properly which is not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We ordered room service which was very expensive and not as per the menu (the club sandwich had some sort of omelette inside as well as hard boiled eggs which is not ideal when you do not like eggs and the description stated the usual chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato) and overall it was just quite a disappointing stay bearing in mind the cost.
