Good location for battlefield tourPosted Jul 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were kept waiting because no one was on the desk to check in. The room was noisy as it faced the road & it would have been nice to have air-conditioning as it was very warm. On the plus side the restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent, the car park is a good size and the hotel is very well positioned for doing a battlefield tour.

Next to Waterloo battlefieldPosted Jun 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Chose this hotel as right next to Waterloo battlefield which we wanted to visit before heading for the ferry home. We dont have sat nav and got lost trying to find it. Need to follow signs for the battlefield 'Butte de Lion' if you come from the Waterloo town direction. Hotel has restaurant, bar and does breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable, slight signs of wear and tear but only minor. Enjoyed our stay.

La 1815 is very close to the Waterloo memorialPosted Apr 29, 2011 on Hotels.com
It is a nice hotel and restaurant. The hotel staff was wery helpful. It is in short walking distance to the Waterloo memorial. The room was on the third floor. And it was quite warm in the attic.
