Nice place to stay for a good price.Posted Aug 14, 2014
It was a decent place to stay. Breakfast was even a nice surprise - there was more offered than we were expecting. We stayed here on the way down and back to Orlando - from Roanoke. Good half way point. 2 things about our stay - on the way down the trash can was not emptied in the main room. On the way back - the shower did not drain very well at all. We did alert the front desk to the problem - so hopefully, its fixed by now.

OK for a night.Posted Aug 14, 2014
Cons: Breakfast, can't take a cup of coffee with you. What's up with that?
Location: Close to I-95, good for traveling.
OK place to stay for a night while traveling. Don't bother with breakfast.

Good place to stay for the nightPosted Aug 5, 2014

We stayed here for one night on July 21, 2014. The premises is older and average. The room was comfortable but it's older and needs a refresh. There is no elevator so if you have a lot of heavy stuff, I would recommend getting a first floor room where you can drive your vehicle close to the door. The breakfast item is satisfactory with a limited selection of hot and cold items. The breakfast area wasn't busy. However there are signs saying breakfast items are not to be taken back to your room. WiFi is weak and slow and the signal kept dropping. If you need fast internet, I would stay elsewhere. I would probably stay here again while passing through this area.

Nice family orientedPosted Jul 23, 2014
Booked the room for two nights the second day got kicked out my room because they thought I booked for one night coming in from a funeral and family gathering the night clerk approaches us because I booked two rooms asking did we belong here and told him yes then the needed my key unlocked again he fussed saying you have two cars in here from NY as if it was a problem and he act as if he had a problem with that but other than that the stay was beautiful! My children and family enjoyed it even though we went for a funeral!

Close convenient location to highway exitPosted Jun 24, 2014
Cons: Shower experience and provide a bottle of hair softener.
Location: The town serves mostly travelers between the Northeast and Southeast travelers.
Ideal location and the room is clean, but the breakfast choices are very limited.

Servicable hotelPosted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were at a baseball tournament and needed a quick and convenient place to stay. It was right on 95, had a Cracker Barrel across the street, a simple but adequate breakfast buffet, clean room, warm shower, warm quiet pool, comfortable bed. For $55/night, it was outstanding. If I had to pay $150, not so much. Staff was friendly.

.....other than that.....the weekend was fine....Posted Jun 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The first room did not have the refrigerator & microwave offered in the amenities. The second room door would not lock and could be push open from the outside without any effort. Our room key had to be reprogrammed three times during our two day stay. The pool was either filled with non-hotel guest local children or locked. There was not enough seating in the breakfast area and guests were not allowed to take food back to the rooms. The room coffee pot had a piece broken that caused the water to run all over the counter instead of in the pot......other than that the weekend was fine.....Would I stay there again? probably not.....we came pretty close to moving to the Holiday Inn Express across the street.....

not good. not badPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Super clean but hard beds and huge uncomfortable pillows that are great for supporting the head of a giant or yeti. Decent breakfast and easy access to 95. Location is a much nicer exit then the north Walterborough exit which hss no less than three waffle joints and a few decrepit pay weekly motels.
