A Mess
I booked my hotel room in advance. When I got to the hotel they said the pool was out of commission, there was no breakfast and then they said there were no clean rooms for me to stay in. They transferred me to a hotel a few exits away and the hotel didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator and the AC turned off halfway through the night. I tried to turn it back on but couldn’t get it to stay on for more than a few minutes. Very frustrating experience.

This was one of the worst hotels I ever booked to stay at. I was there for a funeral with family, and was so embarrassed by the smell and conditions of the hotel. This hotel should be condemned .

Bad hotel!
We was checking in Friday April 7 2023 and was told that we did not have a room with a king bed non-smoking on bottom floor that was booked March 12 2023 @ 11:34 am. I talked to Chelsea and called on April 5 and talked to a man and he confirmed the room will be ready on the 7th. I had to drive back home that is 4 hrs away in the rain at night. No room available in Walterboro! We are disabled. Need refund back ASAP.

Stay somewhere else.
Arriving in pouring rain, the lobby was closed and we had to go to the window and stand outside, wait for the clerk, and conduct the check in while pouring and 42 degrees. Room looked like the guests had made the bed. I’m mad at my self for not going right back and getting a different room. But it was 42 and pouring. Chair had cigarette ash and other dirt (non smoking room - had it smelled I would have left) carpet coming up and caught on the door every time we opened it. Bathtub was chipped and stained. Beds tolerable. Noise from room above us. With what looked like 5 cars parked there, did they have to put one on top of the other?? I will never stay at another ramada.

The room was filthy. It was clearly a former smoking room we could smell it and there where burns on the tub as well as ashes tucked behind the roll of toilet paper. I had to clean the room before I could shower. To add insult and $50 deposit was required in addition to the cost of the room.

The area around this motel was very sketchy. The front desk employee was great. The room has a bad smell and there were stains on the pillow case and hair and a dead cockroach on the floor. One towel. We felt so uncomfortable that we turned around and left. Dropped the room keys in the service window by the front desk. Booked another more expensive place and went there for the night

Clean , reasonably priced and safe.
I was a little worried when I had to call to have someone come down to get my key but it was someone there already that had called. The night manager was polite andngot me in a great room. Check out was just as good. Coffee was Waiting and the plus I got greater by the manager's dog. That dog made the stop worth it!!

The surrounding area was, well, kind of seedy. Front desk lady was very friendly from behind the clear plastic shower curtain surrounding her desk. The a/c was broken so she had a small personal unit back there. No a/c on dining room, so no breakfast. Room was clean, bathroom ceiling was moldy. Bed was comfy, a/c worked well. No microwave but there was a fridge. Okay for a night or two.

Keys did not work to room to begin with. The toilet had a black mildew ring in toilet bowl. Killed two small bugs on bathroom sink. Part of bed on left hand side falling off. Trash can dirty. Room needed vacuuming. Not clean at all. Next morning about 9:30 went to check out and curtain was drawn on side window for night check in and doors locked in front so couldn’t check out.

Avoid! They process $50 "deposit" No refund!
I was reluctant to book, but saw it was endorsed by Wyndham. I should have avoided. Charged a $50 deposit and told me up on checkout they released it, today it fully processed! Called and was told to dispute it. Front desk crew looked like they were meth heads. In the middle of a crap neighborhood, a/c in lobby was broke, a/c filters in the room was FILTHY... I cleaned them myself, black as could be. I had placed my overnight duffel on the floor next to the bed, the next morning I took a shower and found somehow there was a leak from the bathroom to the sleeping area on the floor ... My duffel bag, and clothes inside it were soaked! The pool they advertise is broken, there is no on-site restaurant as stated either. No breakfast of any kind offered. When I checked out I told the lady everything and just got "I'm so sorry, thanks for letting us know". No refund policy, horrible service, horrible accomodation, and false advertising. Wyndham really needs to re-evaluate thier sponsordhip.

Hotel conditions were below standards. Hotel was under construction in which it was not stated before booking. Air conditioning was broken in the lobby. Lobby smelled of mold and mildew. Front desk agent stated they had a water problem. Had to switch rooms 3 times. First room flooded from the shower. 2nd room had no power and the tv was broken. Dirty sheets and no clean linens. Clerk had a dog onsite that she was out front grooming for fleas and ticks

Hotels.com really needs to do more research before putting some of these hotels as availabilities on their site. This hotel was not acceptable. I am a single woman traveling to see her daughter out of state often. Not only was this hotel run down and poorly maintained, the site was in such poor condition, half of the hotel was sectioned off. The sign behind the door stated - do not open the door for anyone you do not know and keep the door double locked at all times. Seriously? I had to I’ve furniture to plug the tv in, where when I did I saw trash and cigarette butts. There were no overs on light bulbs and no toilet paper holder. Not to mention, when I awoke, I went outside and there was a homeless woman, seemingly prostitute, stealing power, sitting behind a vending machine plugging her phone in and talking to someone, crying and going thru something making it very uncomfortable to pack up and leave. I have never stayed in such a place. If it was earlier and I was not as tired, I would have demanded a refund and packed up and left… but it was almost 1am and I had been driving 10 hours and was stuck in a horrible deadly accident delay just prior. Again… hotels.com needs to really research these places before making them available to customers or I won’t use hotels.com and that’s just a shame.
