Pros: rooms, staff, location

Nice HotelPosted Dec 3, 2014
We were on our way to Kansas State U. in Manhattan. This motel was a lot cheaper than the ones in Manhattan and is only a few minutes from there. It was just as nice as the one we stayed in the next night on our way home that cost twice as much.

huge room!Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: We were able to get a suite for all of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of room in there.
Location: We went to the zoo in Manhattan. It was a nice little zoo.
We booked a suite there. It was so nice and big. Perfect for what we were wanting. The price was excellent. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. We would definitely stay here again if we need to come to town.

Clean, quiet and good locationPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The staff was helpful, the rooms were very clean and the A/C worked really well. The hotel is quiet and in a great location.
Cons: The blanket on the bed was very scratchy.
Location: It is close to downtown Wamego and all the quaint shops and since it's on Highway 24, it's a quick drive to Manhattan.
Our daughter, who is a student at K-State in Manhattan, had a schedule change for an event and due to it being a football game weekend, most nearby hotels were already booked. Since Wamego is nearby, we decided to stay at the Wamego Inn and Suites. It was clean and quiet and conveniently located right off the main route to Manhattan. We also enjoyed strolling the main street in town, which was nearby as well. We will likely stay here again.

Breakfast is outstandingPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: It was very close to where our kids lived. Convenient
Cons: I was a bit surprised with the price. Seemed a little high for a small town--more than what we pay at a place we stay at in Colorado when on vacation
The breakfast was outstanding--biscuits and gravy. Never had that before at any other hotel. Visited with one of the hotel staff who was cleaning rooms. Very friendly.

I would recommend!Posted Jul 18, 2014
The hotel was perfect for our stay. Clean, neat, friendly staff, good breakfast (hot food as well as cereal, juice, coffee) and priced to afford. I would definitely recommend this hotel! We will stay here again when we are in town again.

Comfortable and conveniently close to ManhattanPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: clean, convenient for time in Manhattan. Comfortable and acceptable price.
Cons: Need GLUTEN-FREE options for breakfast (fruit, yogurt or something specifically labeled).
Location: Conveniently located near the east side of Manhattan which offers additional access to restaurants, shopping and things to do.
We stayed due to our visit to Country Stampede. It was cool to make friends with people at Stampede then find they were also staying at Wamego Inn & Suites. We say them daily at the hotel and at the event. Made our vacation feel welcome and at home. The hotel was clean, comfortable and provided a frig/freezer and microwave which also help keep our costs down for some of our snack/meal options. Price was acceptable and it was conveniently close to the east side of Manhattan (with restaurant, shopping and things-to-do options) and the event. It sounds like people re-book for next year upon checking out, so it will be another welcoming visit to see acquaintances next year!
