Greensands guest house the annexPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice grounds around annex. Just a noisey road. Lovely helpful people and a nice breakfast (runny eggs and nice bacon)

Lovely place!Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: The room was comfortable, clean and well presented, and shower was powerful and warm! Breakfast was very nice both mornings. Great views from room.
Cons: My only criticism is that I was asked to pay for my stay, despite the fact I had paid on booking with Expedia, and had to search my emails for proof.
Location: Very convenient location near to Wantage. Can't comment on things to do as only visited area for a wedding.
Stayed in a family room in the annex with two friends while visiting the area for a friend's wedding. Very enjoyable and comfortable experience; would definitely recommend.

Anything you can think of is perfect for this help. A little difficult to find, but it's not a problem for us with a car and GPS. Overall, highly recommend!

Ideal Oxfordshire country getawayPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Absolutely lovely location in a tiny village about 30 minutes from Oxford and Swindon. We stayed in the "anex", which is a newly-refurbed building across the road from the main guesthouse. Very comfortable--our room had a separate room where our daughter could sleep. Grounds are very pleasant and the village has three great pubs and genuine atmosphere to spare. It's convenient to the Uffingdon White Horse and about an hour from Stonehenge. We ended up visiting the Roald Dahl Gallery (in Aylesbury) and the museum (in Greater Missenden), about 45 minutes away by car. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was a very good full English. I would definitely stay there again if I wanted to explore the area more fully, especially if we were doing walks rather than driving. We chose the location because it was more or less equidistant from several places we wanted to see, including Stonehenge and friends in Eynshem north of Oxford.

good value b&bPosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
A good value b&b - exactly what you'd expect for the price. Decent rooms with all the necessary amenities, clean and quite. Good breakfast, just don't expect massive portions.
