Great stop over

Posted Feb 6, 2015
Very clean and surprisingly quiet, even though we had window open at night and were facing freeway. Easy to find and convenient stopover on trip to Melbourne. Peter was very helpful when we advised we were to be delayed in our arrival. It is an older style motel but suited our needs perfectly and would return in future.

A delight

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Our stay was unusual. The managers were on leave and the owners (Cathy and Lindsay) had graciously retained our booking and a couple of others so as not to inconvenience us. Cathy and Lindsay gave us a warm welcome and produced a superb dinner for our first night. They left us everything we might need while they were away over Christmas, together with their mobile number just in case. This meant that we had a totally peaceful environment in which to take breaks from our large family gathering nearby. We were upgraded to a larger room, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. The motel is set among fields with views towards Warragul but only five minutes drive from town. Its only disadvantage is in being close to the motorway. In spite of double glazing, there is traffic noise 24 hours a day. Bring earplugs. They solved that problem very efficiently for us.

2 nights to visit family. Bit out of town but reasonably quiet. Older style motel but bathroom was renovated, beds were comfy and room was clean. Only gripe was Foxtel reception was poor & toaster provided but no plates / knife.
