hotel stayPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: friendly and accommodating staff and clean hotel
Cons: A/C and fridge in rooms, but of course prices would go up due to expensive gas and oil
Location: Location was near residential area, car dealer and a small grocery store. tram and buses is within walking distance
hotel was near malls, side shops, buses and trams. The staff were polite and accommodating. For Americans traveling to Warsaw and wanting to stay at Felix Best Western, there are no A/Cs or fridges in the hotel rooms like in the US. It's the way it is in most hotels in Warsaw unless you stay in a 5 star hotel. The weather was not stifling hot and it is cool during the night were you can leave the door or windows open for cool air. Other than those two inconveniences, I definitely would recommend others this hotel. Warsaw, overall, is nice place to visit. Clean city, lots of public transportation and people in general are polite and helpful.

ENJOYABLE STAY at Best WesternPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: The decor & overall 'atmosphere' of Felix was pleasant. It had various places to sit & just chill. It was CLEAN and professionally managed. THANKYOU
Cons: Very little ...though it's always nice to have a little 'welcome tray' in the bedroom...with a few teabags, some biscuits and 'maybe' a small kettle!
Location: I can't comment on this I spent little time in the neighbourhood. There was a a small LIDL Supermarket and various shops close by.
Thankyou Best Western for making my visit to Warsaw most memorable! I had to give you 'top marks' for the visit because in every way... the reception staff, bar staff & restaurant staff did a first class job. I would definitely reccommend you to anyone visiting Warsaw!

Awful... avoidPosted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is just a hotel from a chain, so you know what to expect. However, I didn't do my homework and found myself miles away from the centre and the hotel is down a very dark unlit street. If you are commuting by tram in and out and come back when it's dark, this road is not ok for women on their own, as I was. The only way to avoid this is to get a taxi which is what I did in the end, but I work for a charity and didn't want to spend money on cabs the whole time. So not the best location. It also takes about 40 minutes to get to the centre. The most damning criticism of the hotel was a total lack of wifi in my room for the whole of my stay - as a woman travelling alone on business it was absolutely crucial to have this - both for work and entertainment reasons - I was on my own every evening with no wifi to prepare work for the next day, contact friends and family and watch films etc. It was the most miserable I've been on any working trip in my whole life - I was lonely and isolated - although I complained to the hotel staff they 'couldn't help me' - I was finally moved on my last night when I'd returned at 12 midnight to a room that had wi-fi - by this time my work had built up to such an extent that I was up until 3am catching up. The most horrible experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and do not stay at this hotel.

Good hotel in a quiet suburb of WarsawPosted Mar 24, 2014
Location: shops and other facilities for local residents
Good place to stay as it’s located in a quiet suburb of Warsaw. Distance from Warsaw Central Train Station is not considerable. You can use tram 9 or 24 (at a cost of PLN3.40) which will drop you off 100 meters from the hotel in approximately 18 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi (taking approximately the same amount of time) will cost you no more than PLN25.00. We stayed in a twin room on the 7th floor, our balcony facing a well tendered garden. Facilities are good: TV with English/French/German/Polish speaking channels, free Wi-fi and Internet kiosk, staff with a good command of English and also very helpful. The hotel has a restaurant with an interesting menu, prices to match. Around it, you will find shops, supermarket and other places catering for the local residents. For bars, nightclubs and fancy restaurants you may want to stretch to the city centre.

suitable for short stayPosted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: Hotel was clean and breakfast was sufficient for my needs
Cons: There was no facility to make tea or coffee in the room although bottled water was supplied and restocked daily
Location: Location appeared to be residential , hotel set back from main road and immediate area around hotel looked as if being prepared for redevelopment.
I found the best way to the hotel on the first visit was to taxi from the centre as it is a good 2-3kliometers distance. cost was around £10. Trams run regular passed hotel into centre the stop is approx 300m from hotel door. Last tram from centre 22.00hrs

Hotel felixPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Nothing much.
Cons: Expedia removing this hotel from CENTRAL Warsaw.
Location: Tram stop and that's about it.
Hotel was in quite rundown area and was quite basic. My main gripe was booking with Expedia and expecting a three star hotel in CENTRAL Warsaw not halfway to Belarus. This was a fifteen minute tram ride from centre of Warsaw and totally unsuitable for my needs.

Good value for moneyPosted Feb 1, 2014
Comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Adjustable heating was very important as outside it was -24 c and in the room was warm. Has own guarded parking (for a fee), in Warsaw this is important Good location. A lot of eateries nearby and supermarkets.

not close to the city center, but excellentPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Comfort, balcony, cleanliness
Location: The location is far from the city center. There is a gas station nearby, and lots of service stations for various car brands (Volkswagen, Ferrari, etc
This hotel is a tram distance form the city center. Thus, it is not within walking distance to the touristic sites. That is a big negative. However, Warsaw does not have a very well defined city center. So, for me staying at this very nice hotel at a very reasonable price ended up being a good decision. The hotel was very clean, comfortable. Nothing to complain about the hotel other than the location. The walk from the tram stop would also be a concern, but overall I felt safe in Warsaw everywhere. The hotel had free wi-fi and had all the standard business amenities. The rooms have a really nice balcony.

I enjoyed my stay there, good business class hotel. Might not be best for families. Funny thing was they still had old style tv's in the rooms and the neighbourhood was just ok - few abandoned buildings around. But overall very happy with the stay.
