Fantastic location, great welcome

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Great character and great location providing easy access to old town
Cons: Nothing obvious to us
Location: Right next door to the Presidential Palace, packed with culture and atmosphere from the main square to every inch of the re-built old town, easy acces
Hotel Bristol is well situated for accessing the old town of Warsaw and has plenty of character and charm, as well as attentive staff, to make your stay a pleasure. I am not sure that breakfast and dinner provides great value given all of the options available on the hotel doorstep but the hotel makes no secret of being pricey in comparison for the best of the rest in Warsaw - worth it as a treat and good value for Europe.

Birthday in Warsaw

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Architecture, decor, location, attention to detail
Cons: Slightly bigger gym? if I have to come up with something
Location: Perfect. Right between the 'must see' old town and the a really nice eating/shopping/pedestrian area. Handy to everything.
Just got home yesterday from our stay at the Bristol. We really enjoyed it, and I would gladly stay there again. Not only was the hotel gorgeous and very well located, the staff were really helpful to my husband arranging treats for my birthday... flowers, facial, etc Our room was so nice I took pix of the decor!

Pros: Next to most of the tour spots in Warsaw
Location: You can dance , lots of nice flowers around, good food and souvenir shop...
It is a very class hotel next to the Presidents house. It is also next to Stare Miasto where all the nice restaurants and LODY can bae found. I enjoy walking around the plaza..

Best hotel experience I've ever had.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
From the moment we set foot in the hotel to the moment we (regretfully) left, we had the most amazing stay at Hotel Bristol. The staff were at all times warm, friendly and very willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel room was simply amazing: huge, quiet, tastefully decorated with views across to the new town. The location was perfect, close to old town an a short walk to a wide range of restaurants. We dined in the hotel restaurant the first night after arriving late and were impressed by the high quality of the food and wine. The fitness and spa facilities were good, but as they are not huge, they can quickly become crowded. Other than this small criticism, the only other tiny blemish on our stay was that when we left by taxi the bellboy hailed a dodgy non-registered taxi which I refused to take and he hailed a registered one. These are minor issues though and would stay here again whenever I could. Highly, highly recommend.

Landmark hotel near all the Warsaw landmarks

Posted Aug 16, 2014
This hotel provides one of the best value for money. It is right next to the Presidential palace. Says something about the quality and tranquility of the life that makes such as thing possible. Cobble stone street connects the hotel to the old town and all the tourist attractions. Great service, friendly staff, very relaxing pool/sauna, a true five star hotel.

Great hotel, Awesome Location!

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Location!
The hotel was right on the main street along the Royal way. It was an easy walk to good restaurants, and the main downtown area. Parking at the hotel was limited, but free. We got there late in the day, but the hotel was still able to find us a place to park. We will stay here again next time we visit Warsaw.

Lovely but aloof from the real charms of Warsaw

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Location, spacious room, friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom fittings were a bit substandard for a 5-star hotel.
Location: Short walk to Old Town, Saxon Gardens, touristy strip of restaurants and cafes. Very easy to get around Warsaw in any case.
3rd trip to Warsaw, first time at the Bristol on recommendation. The hotel itself can't be faulted, nice location for visiting the most touristy parts of the city, spacious rooms etc. - but having stayed at other properties in Warsaw before, thought this one was a little overhyped and overpriced. Very much a hotel for the jetset who need to be seen in the right places rather than get good value for money and explore a more authentic version of the city. But of course this is highly subjective depending on one's expectations when visiting a city. Warsaw is incredibly charming, grity, diverse and vibrant. Staying at the Bristol felt too much like living in a bubble, aloof from what makes Warsaw one of Europe's most exciting cities.

Good hotel, but not quite there.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
I might have been unlucky during this stay, but definitely didn't feel as if I were staying at the best Hotel in Warsaw. The a/c in my room was not working, someone came to fix it but it didn't really work. I was supposed to have 1 king bed, got 2 instead. The bathroom is fine but shower is just OK. Plus you only have wi-fi at the lobby, otherwise you have to pay around $20 per day. On the positive side, location is really good, you can walk around and are 5-10 minutes aways from the main square. It is an old hotel, with a lot of history, which of course make it charming, but in terms of convenience and comfort I they fall a bit short,
