Great hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Everything was excellent.
Hotel was close to the city centre and the football stadium. Which are both the reasons we booked it. We were there earlier in the year for the football also and really liked the hotel which was why we booked it again for this trip.

One day in Warsaw

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: The hotel was luxurious and very similar to an American Hotel for a great price.
Cons: n/a
Location: Very close to Old Town Square (10-15 min walk), The palace gardens (10 min) and Nowy Swait
We stayed in the Sheraton for one night during a 24 hour layover to see another European city. Location is in between the Palace Gardens and Old Town ( about a 10 min walk both ways). Very nice/luxurious accommodations for the price-the bathroom was nice and the hotel bed was very comfortable.. The hotel staff was friendly and they have a wonderful airport shuttle. Lost of restaurants and bars in the hotel if you don't want to leave but about 5 min away is Nowy Swait which has lots of shopping and restaurants

Great Location

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Cons: Complete non smoking floors. Not nice to wake up to the smell of smoke when walking to the elevator.
Location: Perfect location to walk to old town and the train station. Close to lots of shopping.
Was close for us to the train station we arrived at. Learned a lot about the history of Poland during the uprising of WW2. People were helpful and most spoke great English. The city was far more cosmopolitan than I thought it would be.

Great hospitality in a Great City - Warsaw

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The room, the food and the service....
Cons: Keep on with the good service as the friendly staff turned us to Loyal Guests of the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel. Thank You!
We just came back from a short stay at the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel. Our experience with this hotel is simply great ! We had a most enjoyable stay thanks to the friendly and professional staff. We recommend the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel for its excellent location, the size and comfort of the room, the variety of restaurants and the 24 hour Room Service. The Front Desk team handled our Check-in and Check-out in a very professional way. The Guest Service Team were very helpful and assisted us with our restaurants reservations and transfers. We shall certainly stay again at the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel on our next visit to Warsaw.

Unexpected charges

Posted Aug 28, 2014
1. Was shocked to learn they charge extra for in room internet. The fact is well hidden on their website. 2. The was told there was free internet in the lobby. But every 45 minutes you get cut off and have to log in again. Not very convenient for the business traveler, everyone lives by internet these day. Where to go for dinner, purchase tickets for shows, it is the most important service to me 3. The mini bar was locked. Wanted a 200 (Polish currency) deposit per day to get the key. On staff member was very rude when I questioned these things. However after politely informing the day manage I was comp'ed the internet for free. I travel about 9 months out of the year and this is the first time I have stayed in a couple years I have had to pay extra for internet in my room. I never book a hotel that charges for internet. This one got by me because the charges are well hidden. However is does say in large bold print: "Free Internet" Then underneath in much smaller print: "Sheraton Warsaw offers free Internet access for all guests. Free Internet is available in hotel’s lobby, public spaces and unique café" As far as I am concerned this is a clear case of deception. That was my last stay at any Sheraton Hotel.

Good hotel and good location

Posted Aug 20, 2014
The hotel is in a great location for walking to the centre or the old town area . Close by are good restaurants coffee shops My stay was not as good as I'd have liked (although hotel was excellent) my room was placed near the elevators on the club floor and unless you come in late at night and or leave early in the morning it will disturb you ..

Central hotel but quiet.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Clean quiet and central.
Short but enjoyable stay. Breakfast is expensive so used a nearby coffee shop.
