“Great location plus comfort”
The Sofitel is located a block from Warsaw's old town, the best area for sightseeing and restaurants. The hotel is luxurious in a 1980s way, with lots of marble. Comfortable beds and modern bathrooms, but don't expect any old world charm. A major disappointment is that the swimming pool is our of order and has been for over 3 months (we learned only after our arrival). Skip the US$30 breakfast unless you like a huge buffet; there are plenty of options nearby.
“A bit dated”
The location of this hotel is great...convenient to the business district and Old Town. The lobby and common areas were just OK. The indoor pool was closed, the rooms were a bit dated and it was very difficult to change channels on the TV...several steps to go from one channel to another...very strange set up. This is a three star hotel in terms of the physical surroundings but is priced as a four or five star hotel ($43 for a very average sandwich, a drink and tip). When I return to Warsaw, I will try someplace else.
“Great hotel but...”
The cost of buffet breakfast was outrageous: close to $40...that's even higher than in Tokyo and more expensive than dinner at a nice restaurant.
“good location good relation between price and quality”

“The only reasonable hotel in Warsaw”
The hotel has all the amenities one can expect for quite a luxurious accommodation. I believe that it is due to the dated design style and some worn-out details, like the marble at the entrance, that ithe price is very reasonable. But the defects have no bearing on the overall comfort of stay. Liked most: the cleanliness of the room, the laundry service, the pool (amazing), the champagne for Sun breakfast, the price. I felt like I was in a civilized place.
“Beautiful spa in comfortable hotel”
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, and got a great deal as well. We enjoyed the gorgeous pool and the little perks like flavored water and tea. Would love to return. Breakfast is expensive, but we went down the street to Coffee Heaven and got very good food and snacks.
“Lacks any charm, very clean but very worn, don't get the breakfast”
We barely paid anything, specials online let you get this hotel for the price of a motel 8, unfortunately it's not much better. Worst Sofitel I ever stayed in but the location is awesome. breakfast was really pricey and was bad in a worn room with no windows.
“My absolut favorite”
Once again, I was happy to discover that my choice for booking the Sofitel Victoria Hotel was the right one. It is really my absolute favorite hotel, it is a place I feel like home. A hotel that makes you want to smile back to all those kind people that are at your service at any time. Thank you once again
“Better than Expected”
The staff at the registration desk and concierge desk were extremely helpful, courteous, friendly and respectful. In a couple of situations, they anticipated our needs and took care of matters without being asked. They made suggestions to us regarding cultural and tourist activities and researched activities that were of special interest to my husband and me. We especially remember Michael, Kasia and Piotr, who obviously loved their jobs and performed them admirably. The breakfasts were outstanding, especially the buffets, where there was a wonderful variety of Polish and international food items. We had dinner one night at the hotel and that, too, was outstanding--the service, food and ambience. The seafood risotto there was a gourmet's delight. Also, we were within walking distance to Stare Miasto and strolled to that area a few times. (This hotel is across the street from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.) We highly recommend the Sofitel!
