Nice pub and rooms, breakfast was very slow due to the amount of people wanting breakfast at the same time.

The bathroom fan and toilet system (when flushed) were a bit noisy but a lovely hotel with nice rooms and bar/restaurant area.

Check in was as stated 3pm on the dot but not before. Not a problem. Staff were brilliant and extremely helpful and friendly. Food was lovely. The building has loads of history too by the looks of it. It's a shame there is nothing displayed or available to tell it's story over the years. That would make it so much more interesting.

We were surprised when we were notified that we had the “suite” as we checked in. What a delightful room! Beamed ceilings, comfortable bed & pillows, claw-foot soaker tub and a stand-alone shower….I could go on. A few niggling details prevented an otherwise perfect score: handles on shower and tub were/broken/poor quality; TV couldn’t be heard from bed; restaurant staff had strange attitude*. (*we had made an early reservation and the restaurant was dead empty. We requested to be seated in one of the three booth tables. Our waitress told us they were reserved. When another couple, without a reservation, arrived 30 minutes later, they were seated there upon request. Also, we never saw the detailed bill before she charged the dinner to our room. Hmm….). Otherwise, delightful stay!

Lovely hotel
We chose a ‘cosy’ room to attend a wedding. The room was reasonably priced. The room had all the facilities we needed, a lovely large walk in shower, coffee machine with pods, the only negative was that the bed was very squeaky. It was only me and my sister staying but even turning in the bed made a noise. The food in the hotel was excellent, we ate breakfast on both days and dinner. Staff were very helpful.

Really lovely place to stay… great pub and restaurant. Breakfast was fabulous. We stayed in the cozy room… it was adequate for our one nights stay! Definitely recommend it ❤️

Lovely friendly service from all the staff, great food at dinner and large choice of food for the breakfast. Room was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. Only negative was the bed was squeaky and wobbly but this didn't affect my stay. I would highly recommend as a place to stay and return to in the future.

Happy to recommend and great vegetarian breakfast
A great hotel and good position. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value, will definitely use again and happy to recommend. One very minor comment is that the breakfast order was a tad slow, but it was lovely when it arrived and my partner said the best vegetarian breakfast she had ever had.

We stayed in a deluxe room and it was nice and spacious with great Facilities. Had dinner one night in restaurant food was excellent. Car parking is limited but 24hr free car park few minutes walk away. Staff very friendly

Stayed here for a family wedding nearby. The rooms were lovely and cozy and the staff were exceptional and did everything they could to accommodate our large family party. We also ate here one evening and the food was very good. Highly recommend this place should you want accommodation in Shipston-On-Stour.

The room was really lovey bathroom amazing there was a lot of cobwebs in the big bay window that should not have been there , The evening was really delicious food was very good although service was a little slow and not that busy . Breakfast at the hotel was really good a help yourself cereal yogurt and fruit bar and hot breakfast was delicious would stay again .

Perfect Hotel in a lovely little town.
Excellent stay. Ideal for business users except the evening meal prices exceeded business allowance so my colleague and I had to eat elsewhere.

Lovely room in the loft !!!!
We were given The Studio, which apart from being up 3 flights of stairs (we are both late 60s) was a very lovely room. Large bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Nice tea and coffee. Very comfy bed.

We were greeted by Alex who checked us in. The manager Ben and co worker Rob looked after us really well they were professional courteous attentive. The hotel was lovely and clean the the bed super comfy will definitely stay again

Fantastic!
Lovely room in a beautiful pub. You wouldn’t know there was a restaurant below you. Bath and shower in the deluxe double were amazing. Room is equipped with everything you need - bottles of water, coffee machine, shampoo and shower gel. Staff were very welcoming and polite, and the meal we had tasted great.
