Nice hotel lacking good staffPosted Jun 11, 2014
Cons: Better staff, cleaninless of the restaurant
The room was nice and clean we couldn't complain about that. But, in the morning the breakfast starts at 7, so we walked in at 7am, the waitress told us they open at 7 which is in 5 minutes (their clock was not set correctly). So we waited, 10 minutes later she asked if we want coffee or tea, 5 minutes later brought the drinks then she asked if we'd like cooked breakfast, we replied yes please and then we waited another 20 minutes still no sign of breakfast then we gave up. THERE WAS ONLY US TWO in the whole restaurant. Tables were in big need of a wash, chairs very dirty and spoons for the breakfast not washed at all. Simply shocking experience in the morning. We wasted half an hour just to get a coffee.

The Stag At RedhillPosted Apr 30, 2011 on Hotels.com
Really enjoyed our stay at the Stag, it was very basic but really comfortable. The food was great and there was a good choice for breakfast. The only problem we found was our room was on the front of the hotel and close to the road so the noise from the traffic was really loud .We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to friends

Quaint Inn near StratfordPosted Mar 29, 2011
We were arriving by car and this inn offered several things that were important to us: free parking, an onsite restaurant that served breakfast and a family room suitable for two adults and two 13 year olds. It was rustic and charming and the restaurant was delightful, both for dinner and breakfast. My one complaint is that the inn is very close to a rather busy road. There was traffic noise for most of the night. I sleep with earplugs, so it wasn't a huge problem, but I can imagine that it would make sleeping with windows open in the warmer months impossible. There are rooms on the back side of the inn that probably are not affected by the road noise and I would ask for one next time.
