Walton Hall is a lovely hotel in fantastic groundsPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location,Atmosphere and grounds,
Make sure you are getting a room in the main part of the hall,as there is a chance you may be located in the annexe or coach house, these rooms are 3star at the best otherwise very good place to stay.

Beautiful location, comfortable and good valuePosted Jun 9, 2014
The hotel is large and the hall, which could be stunning, feels a bit corporate. The staff were lovely and quietly attentive. The room enormous and a bit bleak. If ever a house wanted opulence this is it! Breakfast was filling but a little unimaginative. Well worth a visit.

Great hotel for a romantic getawayPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: Modern & contemporary
Cons: Heating/cooling system. Unable to open windows to cool the room.
Location: About 7 miles from Stratford. We ate at a pub called the Checkers Inn which was lovely.
We were in room 32 of the Hall and it was lovely with really nice bathroom area. Our only issue with the room was that the heating was unbareable. It was so hot in the room we found it difficult to sleep. Just make sure you turn off all the heating as soon as you arrive!

nice staff, nice food, basic bedroomsPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hall is a lovely building with beautiful downstairs rooms and bar but the bedrooms are basic. We stayed in the coach house part and were dissapointed in the room but the staff were all very friendly and nice and the food was very good, the location stunning

Great Hotel Just Book Your Table EarlyPosted Nov 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
On the day we were given the option to upgrade to the honeymoon suite for just a bit more which was well worth it as it meant were were in the old hall istself which has big rooms, high ceilings. The Bathroom was opulant and the views from the room were superb. The main gripe I would have is that the were no tables left in the Halls restaurant when we checked in. If I had know this would happen I would have booked it weeks ago when I orignally booked the room.

3* hotel at 5* pricesPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Location was great, but hotel was 'tired'.There are other hotels in the area offering more for the same price.
Cons: That for the management to solve, not me.
Location: Location was fine. Warwick and Stratford on Avon only a few minutes away. heritage Motor Museum nearby. Ideal base for touring the area.
Expected more from a prestige location. Very disappointed.

Comfy beds but rooms were a bit dull as we stayed in the coach house not the main hotel. Good value though and lovely breakfast with lovely views

DisappointingPosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great breakfast but were unable to get a table for dinner in Walton Hall during the two nights we were there. Had to eat in the bar one night and the next night in the convention centre where the meal was inedible. Patrons should be advised that they need to book the restaurant well in advance.

Fantastic Walton HallPosted Sep 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Really enjoyed our stay - gorgeous drive up to this stately home turned hotel! Could have upgraded to a deluxe room but we were happy with our courtyard room. Delicious breakfast in the Montcrieff restaurant - too expensive for us to dine for evening meal (£25 main courses!!).
