Pleasant stay

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Very grand driveway and grounds with wild rabbits.
Cons: Common areas of the bedroom areas.
The hotel is impressive on the drive up. The rooms are located in a newer building that the reception and it appears a bit basi but its perfectingly comfortable and was suitable for our one night stay as a family. The pool was ok (we were the only ones there most of the time) - its not plush in any way but its clean. Breakfast was nice in the grand dining room and the staff we all very friendly. I would stay there again if ever back in the area.

An excellent Kenilworth option

Posted Oct 10, 2013
Usual suspects were fully booked so tried Woodside. Quiet clean and comfy room. High quality fixtures and fittings. Peaceful location on the edge of town. Fast and free wifi, professional and courteous staff. The breakfast was superb, I couldn't fault it. This is where I will stay when I visit Kenilworth in future.

Good food, disappointing rooms!

Posted Feb 21, 2012
Pros: The food and service.
Cons: The room.
Location: Well placed for visits to Stratford, Warwick and Coventry.
Booked this hotel on the strength of the description of the rooms being "individually decorated bedrooms". It was disappointing to find this meant that they had different colours for curtains and cushions only! No real design features. The hotel overall was good and the food was excellent! More suited to conference and meeting delegates.

Gorgeous setting yet close to town

Posted Aug 31, 2011
Arriving in Kenilworth very late at night and tired from driving down from Glasgow, this place was a perfect stop for the evening before a days business in Leamington Spa. It was lovely as a place to stop, and a great way to start my morning with a workout before breakfast. A truly peaceful place that was just what I was looking for.
