“Best Hotel within walking distance to the Convention Center”
Extremely friendly service every step of the way. Great staff and wonderful service. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the hotel bar and grille. Exceptional service and delightful food.
“Economic luxury”
I spent little money for a spacious, luxurious room. It was perfect for the weekend. Location, service, everything was top notch. Young crowd, good time.
“Great location, great service”
We stayed for just one night, but it was a holiday weekend. They were totally booked, but still had wonderful service. They happily gave us directions and tips for our tourist attractions. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Very close to the Mall.
“Trip to Washington DC - Beacon Hotel, Thrifty Rental, & AirTran”
I flew down to DC via Baltimore airport to attend the Rally to Restore Sanity. The flight went well (both ways) The rental car was very good. I did get Thristy's Garman GPS. Going to DC it was giving directions that I could not follow. I did make it to the hotel with no problem. Although the hotel's garage was full. They apologized & explained that they had a group come in that reserved all the parking spaces. They did direct me to a nearby parking garage. The room was very nice. I had breakfast in the hotel's dining area the next morning. When I checked out, the hotel stored my bag for me. The GPS did give good directions getting me back to the airport. I did run into some major traffic on the way from the hotel to the airport. I thought I might miss my flight but did get to the airport in plenty of time. All in all it was a good trip. I am glad I used Expedia.
“Un hôtel à découvrir”
C'est un hôtel très sympa dans une ville très sympa. A quelques blocs de la maison Blanche, près de Dupont Circle (station de métro et de bons petits restos) Le confort de l'hôtel est parfait, le restaurant est correct, mais c'est la déco qui vaut le détour !
“Best place to check in if you are going to the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C.”
The Beacon Hotel is the best place to check in if you are going to the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. It's accross the street. Compliment to the Chef, the New York steak was very tender and my Salmon is good. We never eat anywhere else but the Beacon Hotel restaurant. We ask for the king size bed and we got it with an overlooking view of the street. I already recommended it to my friends.
“"Elegance & Comfort in Perfect Location"”
This is a charming hotel, in a great downtown location, with wonderfully comfortable rooms. My room was the perfect combination of old world elegance with all the modern amenities I could imagine--and then some, including a refrigerator and microwave. I can't wait to return--I felt like I was in a cozy haven and I did not want to leave!
“great place to stay”
Very comfortable, food in restaurant was good, staff very helpful
“Great hotel in DC”
This was a great find on Expedia. A clean, safe hotel in the Scott Circle (near DuPont Circle) in DC. Room was well-appointed. Staff was courteous. And all at a great price. I'd definitely do it again.
“Found a a place for my regular visits to DC”
Location - outstanding! Price - very reasonable! Service - high marks! Restaurant - WOW! Martini Sky Bar - great atmosphere! I will be back.
