“Good location, good price”

The location is wonderful - a short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro sation, and a shorter walk to numerous interesting places to eat at all price ranges. The staff is extremely helpful, and very apologetic for the regular maintenance shortcomings of the hotel - loose towel racks, missing robe hook in the bathroom... Nothing serious, but not the level that travellers accustomed to the chain hotels would expect. Some parking available across the street at a reasonable (for DC) price.

“DC hotel of extreme value.”

Staff is very helpful...they are knowledgeable of the area, travel otions and paking facility. The room was perfect and the property is nicely maintained. Would be happy to recoomend this location to any and all travelers.

“Excellent hotel in very convenient area”

The Best Western was excellent. It was very convenient to various locations. Great neighborhood and the price was about 1/3 less than other area hotels. Everything was perfect. Free breakfast, free wireless, fabulous room, kitchenette in room. Couldn't have asked for more.

“Can't recommend too highly”

This was our first visit to Washington DC, and the hotel was just ideal for us. Charlie (the Manager) and all his staff could not have been more helpful to us from beginning to end of our 3-night stay. The room was comfortable, the facilities good, and the breakfast of a good standard. The hotel is well-placed on the edge of Georgetown (despite its name, it is actually in Foggy Bottom) and within walking distance of the White House and other attractions. We would certainly go back again.

Would stay here again, very handy to everything, either on foot or by subway. Hotel staff very obliging and helpful. Our room was comfortable and was a perfect base for our five day stay, also included a light breakfast, which is a good start to your day.

“Clean, inexpensive, convenient (but watch parking)”

This hotel was a great place to stay--2 blocks from two different Metro stations, a few minutes from Georgetown shopping. Good continental breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, and I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for clean, inexpensive, convenient accommodations. My only complaint was that the check-in clerk told me to "just pay over at the parking garage" when I left, which would have resulted in a significantly higher charge as the garage was run by a different company. Luckily, I asked again and a different desk clerk gave me a validation ticket for parking (so I paid $18.00 for a 24-hour period instead of the higher posted rate).

“Best hotel in DC”

The rooms are clean, hotel well maintained, the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is centrally located so you can walk to anywhere, museums, whitehouse, capitol, old post office and loads of good restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If we are ever in Washington again we will definitely stay there.
