“Nice hotel”

Nice hotel, clean and good breakfast. A bit far from Georgetown...

“Not impressed”

We booked a two bedroom and when we arrived they gave us a one bedroom for three people. The room was extremely small for three people and when we asked to get a two bedroom they said they were all booked up until after we were scheduled to leave. Also the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so it smelled musty. The internet access for extremely slow if you could even connect at all and they had an electrical problem with the fire alarm so it went off at 6AM and the entire hotel had to evacuate.

Staff was genial and helpful. Parking in DC is an issue. There is parking available at a per 24 hours rate. One hitch is that one has to go around the block, pull into a lot for a Ritz-Carlton and then cross two streets to get back to the hotel. There is a George Washington U. dorm to the left of the hotel. If one's room (mine was one) is against that wall then one can occasionally hear activity through the wall. The lighting in the room uses the spiral fluorescent lamps. Good for them, but the physical lamps were not stable; they flopped at the socket and don't stay upright. The bathroom was well appointed, had nice amenities and plenty of towels. The 12" square marble tiles on the floor, however, would present edges to the feet. Disconcerting. The kitchenette worked well for my needs. The dorm-size fridge was ample. The coffee/tea service also worked well. THe hotel worked well for visitors near DuPont Circle. I would consider this hotel for future visits, but would try to specify the location of the room i take.

“Good deal”

This hotel is conveniently located, and is a very good options for travelers. Even though it's kinda aged, the hotel is in good condition.

“Great Price, Great Hotel”

Considering its low price, this hotel was everything it promised and more. It's a short (5 minute at MOST) walk to the metro and within walking distance of the white house. It is also right around the corner from a CVS and 3 blocks away from a grocery store. We walked to Georgetown within 15 minutes. The hotel staff was helpful and went above and beyond. They remembered our names, made a dinner reservation for us, helped us find our way around, updated us on the weather, and was always polite. They even excused our slightly late check out. The complimentary breakfast was great. It included both warm and cold food options. The room was unique, with an interesting set up, but it works and was more than enough space for us. The hotel was clean and friendly. I enjoyed returning every night after walking around all day. The only significant thing that stands out as a negative is the elevator. It would pause a while before opening the door and make noises while moving. This hotel contributed greatly to our wonderful experience in DC!

This hotel is very good hotel to stay. Only problem of this hotel has some distance (2 blocks) from subway station. Therefore, I have some difficulty to access the major city points.

Nice location - good restaurants in the area, close to metro station, bus stop. Hotel was nice - nothing extravagant but would stay again.
