Great bed and breakfast, you won't be sorry.Posted Oct 8, 2012
Pros: Friendly, attentive staff; warm, cozy, clean.
Location: Just down the street from Stone Hill Winery and a short, pleasant walk from downtown Hermann.
Our stay was fantastic! Richard, who runs the place, was very nice, attentive, and flexible. He cooks everyone breakfast each morning, ready at 8:30am, and it was delicious. At the end of our stay we had to leave early in the morning and Richard woke up early to make sure we got a nice breakfast at 6:30am. The house itself was very warm, cozy, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the common areas were fun and inviting. Would definitely go back, well worth it.

Great StayPosted Jun 17, 2009 on Hotels.com
We stayed at Birk's Gasthaus while we did the Katy Trail for two days. It was a great stay with a comfortable room, great breakfast and very accommodating host, Richard. He went out of his way to make our stay relaxing, and was very helpful when it came to storing our bicycles overnight. It was everything we expected.

Stay at Birk's GasthausPosted Apr 8, 2009
Birk's Gasthaus has an old-world charm and style, with the comfort and accomedations of the present day. Richard and his wife, who run the bed and breakfast make you feel completely at home.
