Convenient...close to highwayPosted Dec 18, 2013
Pros: Location and friendliness of staff.
Cons: Carpets etc. starting to show age but still a great value.
Location: Not much in St. Clair but great overnight stay.

Pros: Cleanliness and value.
Great hotel for overnight stays...just off of the highway. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Breakfast, wi-fi, and parking are included. Nice view from upper balcony rooms. Complementary newspapers and popcorn are a nice touch.

Cons: Weatherstripping on the door would've held the room temperature better.
Location: Quiet, safe location. No road noise and many eating options nearby.
Rooms were dated, but very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was included, nice variety of offerings. Staff was polite and helpful.

Clean,friendly, courteous. Good value.Posted Nov 27, 2013
Little dated but not a detractor. Could improve breakfast with some protein and fresh fruit. Would stay there again.

Reminded me of hotels in the 70's, in a good wayPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, clean
Cons: Continental Breakfast was pretty forgettable
Location: We did Six Flags amusement park. It was about a half hour drive to the hotel from there.
I don't remember the last time I got a room key that was a key, not a credit card. This hotel reminded me of the places we stayed when we'd travel as kids, but in a good way. The rooms all face the parking lots, you have a key for your room, the fashion sense in the rooms is maybe a little dated. But the staff was really great, everything was very clean -- it was a great place to stay. The room rate was very reasonable. My only small quibble would be that the continental breakfast wasn't all that good, but that's true at almost every hotel with a continental breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again if I was ever in that area.

expected run of the mill place but was pleasantly surprised by very thoughtful staff, attention to detail, and amenities that would be characteristic of a hotel.

Attractive building beautiful roomsPosted Oct 8, 2013
A friendly welcome and that I had screwed up the booking by booking the night after by mistake did not faze them in the least. Really nice bedroom and a balcony out front to take in the setting sun and eat the free popcorn. Shops and a restaurant just down the road. Ample breakfast though the breakfast area is utilitarian in contrast to the rest of the hotel. After four days on Route 66 us Brits are becoming accustomed to plastic cutlery and polystyrene plates as they are common to every place we have stayed. Excellent value for money.

Very comfortable, will stay there againPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were treated well and the room was very comfortable. The pool looked nice but it was rainy when we were there so we didn't get in. The breakfast was convenient and filling and check out was easy. We left feeling good about our stay and planning our next visit to the area.
