“Great Room...Great Condition!”

The Clarion Inn has very comfortable beds and big fluffy pillows, things you don't find very often in a hotel. The bathrooms themselves though are quite small but in excellent condition. The hotel was quiet and my girls loved the indoor pool, also there's an indoor jacuzzi for adults only, a putting green, pool table and shuffleboard. The free continental breakfast was delightful, with cereals, danish, juice, coffee, yogurt, and fresh waffles. The only recomendation there would to have a microwave to warm up the danish. Also there's a 7-11 just across the street for those midnight snack runs!!

“Great Deal”

We stayed at the Clarion Inn In College Park when we attended a conference at University of Maryland. It was so close to the University, offered a continental breakfast and had an indoor pool and hot tub that was open until 10 pm. We thought it was a great deal.

“Will use again when working in this area”

A very clean and safe hotel in the area. My crews had stayed in another hotel the night before but wouldn't go back to that hotel again. The Clarion was a good choice and we will utilize this hotel in future.

“College Park Clarion is Nice”

This Hotel is in dire need of a facelift and is well worn but very clean. The staff is one of the finest I have ever encountered; very eager to please and very accommodating. Having a car is recommended as the selection of restaurants within walking distance is slim and walking in the neighborhood after dark is uncertain. The hotel restaurant served some great tasting food with very poor presentation e.g.: a great tasting steak, bare on a white plate... The morning breakfast is free and very nice with good selection that included fresh-made waffles; again served by a super staff. The indoor pool is clean and enjoyable. Location near National Archives and U Maryland is great and the hotel provides easy access to metro - the 20 minute ride to downtown DC is very inexpensive and comfortable. Rates were very competitive and I would return and recommend to others.

“You get what you pay for”

When something seems to good to be true it usually is. If I were to give the Hotel a grade it would be a c-. The people were really nice so thats a big plus, but if your looking for the Hilton this is not the hotel for you. If you don't mind a below average place to stay then this is the place for you. Close to DC, and free shuttle to the metro.

This is a good hotel near MU. It is family friendly. The breakfast was good and the pool as well as our room was clean. If you like really upscale hotels don't stay here. It was worth the money. The outside hallway hotel doors do not work with the card keys and are open all night. Your room is locked. Will go back again.
