Safe location close to metro station.

Pros: We liked that the hotel room had a refrigerator and that there was a microwave available for use in the lobby.
Cons: It would have been nice to have more variation in the breakfast selection since we were there 4 mornings in a row.
Location: It was an 8 minute walk to the subway metro station. It took 45 minutes to walk to the capital. It took 20 minutes to walk to the White House.
Great place to take family of 4. We didn't need a pool, or other extra frills. We just wanted a safe, clean hotel and a free, warm breakfast. The staff was very helpful. We didn't hear noise between floors or between the walls as we have at other hotels. It was quiet and comfortable.

Decent hotel!

This hotel is a mixed bag of nuts. First of all, the parking lot is a decent distance away. Second, they have an amazing free breakfast. Third, the hotel is a decent distance away from the National Mall that will make you exhausted on the walk home. Fourth, it is in a decent part of town but do not venture much to the east because you'll quickly go into some shady areas. Therefore, try to be back to the hotel in time for dark. Lastly, the rooms, although a little smaller, are very nicely done and pleasing.

There was a leak in my room from the bathroom that soaked my luggage. I informed the manager and he didn't seem to care.

Okay for price and convenience

Pros: Breakfast buffet.
Cons: Get room on outside
Location: Near Convention Center
Great for convenience for us but our room had two windows - one that looked at brick wall and other at trash and condo windows very close by. Room was smallest we have ever been in so a little claustrophic - but thankfully we were there to sleep only.

DC Getaway

Pros: The location was great. Valet Parking was great Beds slept very well Free breakfast was great
Cons: Heating unit was too loud.
Location: We walked to the Verizon Center, there were great shops and restaurants all around. Parking was great.
My girlfriend and I planned a quick get-a-way to the city to view a concert. The hotel was centrally located and the valet parking was most convenient. The room was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The heat was the only opportunity, it was a box unit that turned on and off repeatedly. It was loud but other than that it was a great visit. The continental breakfast was great!

Pros: The complimentary breakfast was very appreciated. Overall the rooms and other facilties were pleasant and nicely decorated.
Cons: Please change your windows to save energy and replace your heating system, it will pay back!
The hotel was fine, the room was big enough but the heating was a big problem. The windows are so badly insulated that even if it wasn't terribly cold (for Washington standards) working next to them was very unpleasant with draughts and general cold. Because of the poor window insultation, the toilet was freezing (no heating in it). The air heating system was extremely noisy and was not able to keep the room at a constant temperature so it kept going on and off the whole night, waking me up every 15 minutes.
