A little disappointed

My girlfriend and I stayed there for two evenings. We got the room $24 using Expedia. That being said the room was very small, the bathroom was old and not clean and I must have miss read this or not seen it but they only had valet parking which was another $60 dollar expense I didnt know about. It was close to the convention center which was nice but the hotel was just not what it seemed like from the pictures.

Un hotel correcto en una cómoda y linda ubicación

Pros: La ubicación muy buena.
Cons: Si no hay restrooms disponibles para un pasajero que hizo el check in y dejò en custodia el equipaje!
La habitación era pequeña, y además nos querían ofrecer una habitación con una cama grande y un sofá cama, cuando la reserva fue expresamente por dos camas dobles. Lo que solicitamos de cosmética de baño (un solo producto) nunca lo recibimos. La ropa de cama de abrigo escasa Las camas dobles chicas y la habitaciòn bastante pequeña. El desayuno bastante varidado pero el lugar pequeño cuando hay muchos huéspedes. Lo bueno: las cookies y el café disponible, máxime cuando hay mucho frío.

Nice hotel

I had a wonderful stay here. Stayed on Monday night. The woman at the front desk, with the short brown hair (I couldn't remember her name maybe Pra-- something) was so helpful and amazing!!! The staff are great, the rooms are clean. Rooms are smaller than what I expected but that's how it is in any city. However, I could hear the family next door to me. Breakfast is delicious and there was so much to choose from. Free coffee in the lobby is a warm welcome from a cold day outdoors. Lots of places to eat around the hotel.

Great Value

Pros: Location was great along with the value.
Cons: Consistent reporting of room problems/issues by housekeeping so engineering can take care of the issues we found.
Location: Walking distance from Union Station and the National Mall. Good restaurant selection on nearby 14th Street.
Travelled from Hawaii and stayed almost a week in DC finding a Comfort Inn, as we've stayed at this brand in Oregon. Great value! Located in walking distance to the National Mall and Union Station. Minor issues with the room but would stay there again. Damaged bathroom door stop; window seals allowed chilly air nearby, floor dusty, cabinet and armoire doors off set, shades did not operate properly. Primarily sleeping so only critical items reported to engineering who corrected them in a timely manner. Location was great and we walked to and from the National Mall and Union Station often getting back close to 10 p.m. 14th Street also nearby where a lot of good restaurants are located. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee available in lobby and we routinely enjoyed a cup when we got back from our adventures. Great breakfast every morning.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Everything, even the hot breakfast.
Cons: For me nothing
Location: Good location, close to metro station an downtown.
Excellent hotel and staff, excellent location close to Metro Station.

Staff is the best!

Pros: Staff.
Cons: For its purpose and prie range, I could not expect more of it.
Location: You have to walk a little to reach the metro or go to the museums area, but it is quite easy to get a cab around it.
The hotel is generally nice with good perks such as newspaper, popcorn and cookies for the kids at the lobby. Breakfast is nice, rooms are quite ok (I don't expect to stay much in it, though) an the location is alright. The best is the staff, very friendly. I got sick and needed to extend my checkout and they they were very, very reasonable with it. They even called to check up on me.

Very helpful staff, very good breakfast . Unwelcome surprise was the cost of the Valet parking charges. They did not seem not be mentioned in the hotel booking information. Apart from that the overall experience was excellent.

For the money in downtown DC, this is a great option. Room was small but had everything from coffee maker to fast, free internet. Free breakfast a bonus. What more could you want?
