Went for touring Washington and Baltimore ConferenPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: The room was clean- staff nice, and
Cons: Entrance into hotel is not easy to get in and out of- depending on time of day. Keys kept getting demagnetized. Breakfast needed to start before 7.
I enjoyed my experience. The motel is within a couple of miles of the Metro and close to highway 95. The room was 2 double beds. Me and another person were attending a conference in Baltimore but also wanted to be close to D.C. for touring. The room had a fridge - which was cold enough to make chips of ice form in coke bottles- YEA, microwave- wasn't used, coffee pot- wasn't used. The AC kept the room cold and we liked that. I heard another guest complain that his AC wasn't working- but ours was great. The room was small but comfortable and fit our needs.

Rolling ThunderPosted May 28, 2014
Overall good. Wish the breakfast area was a little bigger. Had to take breakfast to room because there were no more seats available at the time. Getting into the parking lot as a little trickey during busy traffic hours. Coming from the south on rt 1, there is no turn lane.

Nice hotel close to U of MDPosted May 21, 2014
Pros: close proximity to U of MD - the reason for our visit. Easy off 495.
Accommodations were clean & comfortable, check in & out staff were very nice and accommodating, in a great location to U of MD, had a nice pool although it was too cool to swim. Continental breakfast was nice.

Great place to stay to tour DCPosted Apr 6, 2014
We found that the Comfort Inn was an ideal place to stay to site see in DC. The rooms were typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy. Good breakfasts in the dining area. the shuttle to the Metro was efficient (considering the traffic). Each morning we would have breakfast, shuttle to the Metro and return at the end of the day to get shuttled back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is located near the college campus, there are many many places to eat. I would recommend "Mama Lucia's", great Italian food.

Pay Attention at Check InPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Location in College Park.
Cons: Luggage racks in rooms; accurate check-in.
While the hotel was fine, the check-in experience had some problems. We thought we had a two-night reservation and double-checked that on the morning of the second night. We found we had been listed as "no shows" in a different room from the one we actually stayed in. When we tried to reserve a second night they said we had to "call Expedia." We had to get to an appointment, so we reserved the second night with the front desk -- and they still had us listed in the wrong room when we checked out the next morning! I have no idea why our card keys worked in a room three floors down from the one they had us listed in. When we asked for a receipt for the first night, they had nothing in their computer. It was as though we weren't even there, though they did charge us a pet fee that was $5 more than the fee listed on Expedia. For some incomprehensible reason, that pet fee receipt did arrive under the door of the room we actually stayed in. The woman who was working the desk when we checked out, and the general manager, were very considerate, patient and professional and tried to clear it up. But they could not find a receipt for the first night anywhere in the computer.
