very quiet even for downtown DC. Close to red line, close to restaurants, trader jo's, shops, etc. All within walking distance.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was very clean. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. The hotel is a few steps away from the Metro which made it very convenient to get around the city. I would gladly stay here again and/or recommend it to others.

Love the fact it was close to the Metro and therefore easy to get to The Mall area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only downfall was I don't like Starbucks coffee, but there was a Dunkin nearby. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Our family had a nice weekend getaway. I strongly recommend using the valet parking or parking elsewhere and taking the metro. The NoMa-Gallaudet stop is right where the hotel is. Comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was great except for one crazy thing. The mini fridge in the room shuts off every 2 hours to conserve energy. I have medication that needs to be kept cool and this was a problem for me. The staff said they couldn’t do anything about it and I just had to keep turning the fridge back on every two hours.

Checking was difficult and we had to return to the front desk as we’d booked a room with 2 beds, then got a room with 1 bed which couldn’t have worked for our family. Shower was underwhelming as it never got hot, but the room was clean and staff friendly.

Rooms are very clean, staff are very kind and accommodating! It is about a 30 second walk from the Metro which cannot be beat. Also very safe building with security and key cards required to enter and use elevator.

I was enjoying my peaceful and relaxing time on the couch at the general area at 2nd floor; they disturbed me by instructed Security to move me from the couch. I did not appreciate how they approached me and treat me like a homeless person. And they called up police to remove me from the property in the middle of late night. I could not believe how they handle a guest like this.

Guest was sleeping on the couch in the middle of the night and then became loud and argumentative when security woke him up and asked him to go to his room.

The room was great, the staff was great but there was loud guests in the hallway at 4 in the morning making a lot of noise, and it seemed that there was protesters in front of the hotel at 2 in the morning making it difficult to sleep

Comfortable, excellent place to stay to visit DC
Excellent location for visiting Smithsonian and DC monuments; hotel is just a few steps away from Metro station that is very easy to get to DC sites. Roomy room with lots of storage. Bed was very nice but a bit to firm for me (but I like an extra soft bed). Pharmacies, grocery store, many dining choices, 7-11 convenience store, all within a few minutes walk. Two nights; slept well, hotel quite, not highly aware of city sounds or noise of other guests.
