CheapPosted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: Convenient to University of Maryland.
Cons: The doors to the outside should have some sort of weatherproof seal.
Location: Close to University of MD.
I wasn't aware that this was more of a motel than a hotel. Our door led to the outside and there was no seal on the door, you could see daylight all around the door. It was also January so when we arrived our room was frigid. After leaving the heat on for 8 hours, it was okay as long as we wore pants/long sleeves. We only stayed one night and it was one of the cheaper hotels in the area but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

It's time for them to remodel and upgrade.

The best comfort InnPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel located the outskirt of Washington D.C, however the neighborhood is very good. It is very near to Chinese restaurant, Japanese Buffet, Pizza and most Metro buses are operating in this route. The hotel staffs are courteous and helpful. Overall, hotel is very good for Washington D.C. trip. I recommend to choose for cheaper price and best service for guest.

If you want an inexpensive room for a quick trip, this was adequate. Nothing fancy, but I'd stay here again. Pool is shared with the Ramada next door, but it was a good size and clean.

Adequate digs, no frillsPosted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: good value for price. nice staff. clean.
Difficult parking lot to exit to South. No refrigerator. Lots of stairs and did not see elevator, so handicapped might have issues. My door had near broken electronic lock, requiring re-coding card-keys once during stay and lots of fumbling before finally opening. This was not repaired during the 5 days I stayed there, though I reported it the first day.

Oh My!Posted Jun 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms are old-wallpaper and borders peeling from the walls. Rust and waterspots in the bathroom, cracks/holes in the tile. We cleaned and scrubbed the bathroom ourselves. The beds were comfortable though the sheets were stained one after another...including blankets. Mattresses showed signs of mold but thank goodness no signs of bedbugs! We did not sleep between the sheets but put two additional sheets over what was already on the bed. Difficult to find unstained sheets though. Tried to change rooms and find another hotel, but all were booked within the area we needed. Staff was helpful with our housekeeping needs although due to the bed/sheet situation did not let them enter our room during our stay. We took care of our own housekeeping. Air conditioner and lights all worked as did the tv. Plenty of outlets. Would not stay there again.

The stay was overall good. The only problem was one of the rooms I booked had a broken deadbolt. The front desk was called and they said they would fix it the next day which didn't do us any good. One other note the bathroom was so small you couldn't fit two people in it at the same time.

Very clean room but that's about it.Posted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was extremely clean but the wifi didn't work either day, the hotel staff was not knowledgeable about surrounding eateries etc., and they didn't even give a clear answer of what was for breakfast. They didn't know. The hotel itself was very run down to the point I was glad I didn't have my children with me. Over all, if you are looking for a place to sleep for a night it would be fine but a longer stay is out of the question....
