“Very Comfy”

“Perfectly Good Motel”

The Motel was fine, and for the closeness to business, it was a very good deal. It is on a strip of other hotels, so there is no neighborhood to speak of. For what I needed, it served it's needs just fine.

“Prestation standard - Nothing special”

Very standard services offered. Pretty far from downtown, especially if you do not want to use your car to get there (even if you can take a bus a few streets away).

“NOT FOR ADULTS ONLY”

I STAYED IN THE HOTEL FROM 12/23 THRU 12/26/2011. THE HOTEL WAS FINE HOWEVER THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATION :( AND i WISHED THEY HAD OFFERED ADULT MOVIES.

“Reasonable Hotel in DC”

This Hotel is reasonably priced in the DC area. There is shuttle service to Union station where the Metro can be accessed. The shuttle has certain pick up and drop off times in the morning and evenings. It is recommended to contact the hotel for them. The hotel location is near the beltway and there i are busy cross streets nearby. One can walk to places for food, but there is a lot of traffic if you choose to cross streets. There is fast food in the area like KFC, Taco Bell, Mc Donalds and Dunkin Donuts. Another restuarant named Hogs on the Hill serves southern food, but is only take out. Both this restaurant and Dunkin Donuts are within walking distance of the hotel and do not require crossing major intersections. With careful planning, one can choose to have breakfast/dinner at Union Station in the morinings and evenings around the shuttle schedule. There are a variety of restaurants and a food court with a wide selection of food. There are shutlles to and from the Hotel from Union Station from 7:00 AM to 9PM with a lapse of service from 11-4. If you plan on staying on late in the DC area, this may not be the hotel for you because you will have to catch a taxi to the hotel which is about 15 minutes away by car from Union Station. Overall, the hotel has the basics and is good for a short stay in DC.
