Pros: Staff was especially proficient and courteous/helpful.
Cons: Check-in parking was a nightmare, until bellman took over and blood pressure level halved.

Conveniently located near things we wanted to see, comfortable room/suite with amenities, overall positive experience.

The hotel has an excellent location

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: The location was in close proximity to the white house, verizon center and other major attractions.
When we got to the hotel they were completely booked. We could not check in upon arrival however, the hotel staff did everything in there power to assure that we were satisfied and comfortable while we waited. The breakfast was fast hot and convenient and the happy hour was great. All the staff were excellent and we appreciated each and everyone of them that made our stay enjoyable.

Never come back

Pros: the beds were comfy
Cons: qw
Location: not too much
Super Noisy, even on weekends. Every day I weak up at 5am because of trash truck station in front of the hotel. The weekend was another noise from the street plus the the flush from toiletes, voices from rooms near. Besides we boked a room with a king sized bed and when we checked in it was not available, only two doubles. I asked for a room when its available and the 3rd day it was but I could only move in at a time in the morning when I was ready to go to visit Washington with my husband and three kids. Not flexible at all the staff from the hotel. Another thing, the hotel was highly crowded, the line for having an omelet or something on breakfast was eternal. We decided to have breakfast in another place the last day.

Minnesotans give EMBASSY Suites a UBETCHA!

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Creature comforts.
Cons: Didn't care for the additional 21% added on the bill as a service tax for room service.
Location: Close by: city bus, train, BigBus, cabs available consistently. Every form of transport is right there for you.
In Washington D.C. for seven nights at this hotel. We travel a lot and we can say that beyond a shadow of a doubt this place was wonderful. Most importantly to us: The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. We requested four extra on "booking" and they followed through with our request. The "King Suite" was fabulous. Nice full size couch, two larger comfortable chairs, two end tables and a nice size coffee table. Large clean windows, decent round table with four chairs, microwave, small fridge, a safe. Large bathroom, and the shower had great "water pressure". Halls were quiet..... no rowdy guests. The Food: The breakfast buffet was really nice. Everything you could think of except waffles. The food was hot and tasted good. ALL the service staff was above average. From the front door, to check-in, to room service, to housekeeping..... all were friendly, kind, and did their work way-above average. The location: Perfect. The Concierge was most helpful and went out of his way for us. Centrally located hotel..... close to all transit. We were very happy with our visit to Washington D.C., and our lodging at the Embassy Suites Convention Center is definitely an A+.

Comfortable, clean, convenient, friendly. VALUE

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Location, price, cleanliness, friendly and professional staff.
Cons: Not much of a view from outside the window but we didn't stay at this hotel for the view outside the window.
Location: Only a few blocks to all the main attractions in DC.
This hotel is a tremendous value considering its close proximity to the most popular Capital attractions and museums. Super friendly staff made us feel welcome and pampered. Very clean, comfortable room in a nice part of town. Breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh . Next time we visit DC we will definitely be booking this hotel. Highest recommendation.

Fabulous Hotel!!

Pros: everything!
Cons: Maybe have the swimming pool open all year round. But other than that....nothing....
Location: National Mall in DC is an easy 5-10 minute walk. Metro is close too if you don't want a taxi.
What is there really to say, except WOW! Marble sink top, king size COMFY bed... fold out sofa bed in the living area, two flat screen TV"s. It was SOOOOO clean! Mini sink with frig, microwave and a small safe to keep valueables. That was a plus..... Would definitely recommend this to a friend b/c everyone there was so helpful and kind, cheerful and all around pleasant. Oh, and the contitental breakfast was fantastic! My husband said he would miss eating bacon everyday when we left. There were always taxi's available too at a moments notice.... No need to call for one and then hurry up and wait. The Taxi's were always there ready to go. Pleasand taxi drivers too. Embassy Suites truly made our stay in DC a pleasant one. THANKS!
