Excellent

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Everything with one exception
Cons: The only minus is the lack of light in the bathroom and the sense of darkness in the rooms. More light in the bathroom. A dedicated concierge desk
Location: Frienship Heights is a nice neighborhood and with the metro station next door it means any place in DC is also minutes away.
In general and in every aspect with exception of one this E.S. is excellent

Wonderful staff

The staff was great! We had a loud rattle in the ceiling above our and the staff was very accomodating. Sheets and pillows were not comfortable but everything else was great. This is a beautiful hotel in a great part of town.

Great location

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Great staff, friendly, informative and great breakfast! Very clean. very convenient To be able to walk indoors to other stores.
Cons: not really worth mentioning...the pillows were too big. Woopie !
Location: As mentioned great stores close by! Not far from landmarks.
Very good location with great shops In the pavilion...cvs, H&am, J Crew, Cheesecake Factory and the metro is one floor directly under hotel. Across the street where some great stores too ( didn't make it there) Neiman Marcus & Mac cosmetics. It was easy getting around the metro ( we live in city with no subway system) & fun !

Well located. The metro is just downstairs so is easy to connect with DC. Good breakfast. The hotel staff is always kind, special mention of a man called Fidel who helps at breakfast time. Easy to shop around

Family friendly DC area choice

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Location: There's a fun and yummy pub/restaurant a block from the hotel called Chad's. Good food and nice bar. Fun place!
Best thing about this hotel is the Metro station at the base of the building. Metro system is very easy to figure out and you can pretty much be in the area of any DC tourist attraction within 10-15 minutes. This was such a great feature! Building has a Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, CVS and a few stores in their "mall" opening. They also offer free breakfast and have a cocktail hour every evening for guests! Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had about area attractions or transit. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and would stay here again upon a return trip!

Wish the tub was bigger.

Great room just tub to small. I like to soak so a bigger tub would have helped.
