The suite was the perfect size. We enjoyed the breakfast bar, it was so much better than juice and fruit. This was our first time to DC. and the staff was so helpful. They gave us directions and helped locate our lost luggage! I would return.

I've stayed in Embassy Suites before when traveling with kids. This one was the nicest in terms of ambience, service and amenities. Great location for my purposes -- close to the metro station at Dupont circle. Easy walk to west end of the mall. Breakfast spread was impressive. Exceeded my expectations overall. Would recommend.

“Great stay, great perks, perfect for family and grown up fun”

You can't beat the perks at E.S. Dupont Circle - first, Dupont is fabulous for walking, eating, shopping - safe, clean and fun not to mention close to the metro and accessible to all the sites. But the hotel is great too - happy hour (free, yes free), fabulous breakfast (custom omelets - again, free!), a large and heated pool, hot tub, arcade room, feed-the-coi-fish hour (not kidding), movies for kids on a huge TV in the lobby, and rooms with full amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee maker). The separate sleeping area is key for families with little ones (and probably big ones too but we're not there yet). Oh, and the restaurant attached is good quality (really, I mean it), does room service (including wine), and even called to see how our meals were. Will not stay anywhere else when heading back to DC!

“Great Family Hotel, Great Customer Service”

The hotel is in a safe,quiet area of Washington, well within walking distance of all the shopping and dining attractions of M Street and Georgetown. A bit of a walk to the Dupont Circle and metro but from there you are well connected to almost everywhere in DC. The room was quiet, quite spacious and clean. The hotel offers a free managers reception every night, with a free bar, soft drinks, snacks and even a movie for kids on a large screen TV. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and the hotel was very helpful in providing basic toiletries to keep us going. The restaurant was OK but nothing particularly special. There are a number of take-outs around and about though. The real star though was after we had returned home and discovered a problem. The hotel responded as soon as the problem was raised with them. Their response was professional and unexpectedly supportive. They resolved the problem for us and it was clear that our family's experience at their hotel really mattered to them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to others, especially familes, for their exceptional customer care. We enjoyed our stay there and if that's an example of how Embassy Suites treat their guests, I will definitely look to book with them again.

“Very comfortable and convenient for Metro use”

The rooms are big, comfortable and the bed is better than my own. Breakfast in the atrium has a large selection and is convenient. We enjoyed the snack/drink time every evening. The staff was knowledgeable and congenial. The only negative was the room smelled as if someone had smoked in it--we requested non-smoking. To be fair, we didn't mention this to the staff to give them a chance to remedy it. The noise of the fan running at night bothered my husband who is a light sleeper. Subtle enough not to bother me. Great hotel.

“Suites are sweet”

My family loved this hotel. The location is great, all the major sights are fairly close. Walking is an option if you like a 1-2mile round trip. Breakfast and evening reception were great and included and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect for kids, not too deep, and the exercise room actually had proper equipment and multiple machines. We'll stay again!
