Overall the hotel was great. Very convienent if you are using the Yellow/Green line for the Metro. One block away from the Verizon Center and Chinatown area. Watch out if you get booked in a room by the stairs. It is only 1/2 the size of a normal room. We complained and were immediately moved to another room and that was fantastic. The staff couldnt have been more helpful.

Nice location, dated hotel with maintenance issues

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Close to everything - shopping, conference centers, national mall
Cons: deep cleaning, maybe even rennovations to get rid of mold and mildew.
Location: Shopping, Verizon Center, Ford's Theater, Wax Museum, Macys, White House, Museums
This hotel is budget friendly for the area and comes with a nice continetnal breakfast. Most attractions are walkable; major conference centers Verizon and Washington are very close. The rooms are OK, looks like a very dated hotel dressed up all nice on the surface. There was mildew/mold embedded in the grout on the shower, and the water at the hotel tasted like mold. On the surface, the decorations are stylish and fit with the Chinatown feel, but it seems like there is some major grime lurking beneath.

Nice Hotel and convenient to the metro.

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Nice staff, clean and convenient and in safe neighborhood.
Location: In Chinatown and is close to many attractions, the metro and places to eat. Convenient location.
Nice location, quiet in Chinatown. Convenient walking distance to many attractions and the metro. Had to park around the corner in a parking garage which is extra $, but parking is scarce downtown. We dropped our luggage off at the door. Very nice and clean accommodations. The complimentary breakfast was very good and there was coffee, hot chocolate, etc always in the lobby area when we came back from a long day of touring. The staff was exceptional and very, very nice!! Rooms were safe as had to use key to come up the elevator. Would stay again! Traveled with husband and 2 kids age 10 and 8. Beds were comfortable and clean. Nice place!

Near Chinatown

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: location
Location: located in the heart of Chia town. There are restaurants, drug store, and the subway nearby.
check-in was fast and smooth, but when I got to my room the hand towels in the bathroom were unfolded and laying near the sink. Plus, the soap was out of its wrapper and wet ( wrapper was in the trash can). It was unexpected, but later remedied.

Noisy and awkward

Posted Sep 23, 2014
I had to have a handicap accessible room and the bed was so oh I couldn't transfer from my wheelchair and had to have my friend lift me into it. Also, we could hear every noise in the hallway- people walking by, doors opening and closing and talking. Staff was excellent and very kind and helpful.

Very nice hotel a couple blocks from the Verizon Center. Rooms were very clean and up to date. Small especially the closet, however nice furniture and very comfortable beds. The Irish Bar connected to the hotel was ok. Convenient for a late night drink. All in all would stay here again.
