Excellent location for Georgetown U or G'town

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Needs some updating and needs sundries/convenience shop. For the price, needs to offer small refrigerators in rooms.
Location: Right in heart of Georgetown proper and easy walk to campus of Georgetown University.
Despite great location, facilities are showing wear. Elevators were in poor decor and with chipping paint. Staff is friendly, but there are no sundries, no refrigerators in room, lacking convenience for drinks and snacks.

Great hotel is the heart of Georgetown

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: You can't beat the location and the accommodations were a bonus. Pleasant, kind and helpful staff.
Cons: low water pressure one morning but fixed within seconds so not an issue for us, just a comment
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the ease of walking out the door to great shopping and restaurants. The bus stops right outside the hotel or you can grab a taxi for sightseeing.

Exceeded expectations

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The location and the beautiful rooms
Location: Georgetown U.
We picked a great place! Our room was modern, more spacious than we expected, and the beds comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to Georgetown University and all the popular hangouts, such as the Tombs. Twice we had drinks and appetizers downstairs at the restaurant, and they were so good we regretted not having dinner there. The staff was personable and attentive. ..all in all a happy stay. Highly recommended.

Loved the location

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Georgetown is beautiful and Georgetown Inn is right in the midst of it all. Quaint hotel, in the midst of beautiful architecture, great restaurants, Georgetown U. and the waterfront in walking distance. Service was very good. Stayed for 5 days.Room was comfortable and bathroom had just been updated.Would stay again!

Didn't let me down.

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: location.
I booked my friends from out of country in to this place. They were all happy and satisfied. In fact, 1 friend said she plans to comeback with her family and wanted to stay in the same place. I'm glad they were all satisfied. Kudos to staff of Georgetown Inn, they've helped me made my friends happy in their stay to Washington, DC.

Some real drawbacks

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Everything was fine - except the internet connection was inexcusably bad, and both the bar & room service closed at least one hour earlier than posted.

Small & Comfortable Room

Posted May 29, 2015
Parking is about $35 per day. When I stayed, the parking was free because they were running a special. The room is small and you can tell it's a historic room. It had all the basic needs and it had a keurig coffee pot, which I thought was nice because most hotels have an old fashioned coffee pot. The location is convenient, you can walk to a variety of shops and bars.

Perfect location in Georgetown

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Location, clean facilities
Cons: Parking was a little difficult but not a major problem
Good location in the middle of Georgetown. Walking distance to restaurants and bars or anywhere else in Georgetown including the university. I plan to stay there again the next time I am in town
