Georgetown Sweet!

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Cons: Some dingy carpets in hallways, but it looks like they're replacing them.
Location: In the heart of GEORGETOWN, walk to restaurants, along the Potomac, and to the Lincoln Memorial.
Great location, generous room size, helpful and friendly staff.

Exceptional

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Spaciousness of the rooms and everything we needed.
Cons: direction for getting out of the parking area!
Location: We were there for a wedding at Georgetown Univ. chapel. The cab drove us the short distance and we saw the beautiful homes along the way.
Close to our needs, even a walk on the Canal Path. Cab was obtained for us when needed and the complimentary breakfast was more than sufficient.

Great location to fabulous dining and shops.

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: location and staff
Cons: Front desk area and dining area for breakfasts could be larger.
Location: Location was the best. Very close to M Street, Georgetown University and even walking distance to the White House.
Front desk staff where very friendly and professional.

Hidden treasure

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Wonderful friendly staff - Comfortable King size bed - down feather pillows - fully supplied kitchen, iron - will definitely return.
Cons: Bigger screen HD TV's would be the only improvement I recommend
A relaxing place to return to in the evening after hectic days in the nations' Capitol - perfect location - up the block from M Street - shopping, restaurants - a very nice hotel

Nice facility with very friendly staff

Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: rooms are large and very comfortable. Great location. Friendly staff.
Cons: It was hard to make it to breakfast by 9:30. It would be great if the time for breakfast could be extended until maybe 10:30am
Location: Close to restaurants, shops, and embassies.
Hotel is very comfortable and perfectly located in a nice neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, although a bit cold for me to walk too far! The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Jeffrey, at the front desk, went out of his way to help my elderly mother and me check in to our flights and ensure we had comfortable transportation to the airport.

Good Location but Pretty Drab

Posted Feb 6, 2014
The d├ęcor and furnishings are very old and drab. The HVAC systems are old and noisy so they wake you up at night. The Breakfast was marginal, e.g. rubbery hard eggs and canned fruit. Staff were very nice and that helped.
