“"An extradionary venue"”

...The Georgetown University Hotel was extradionary. Well placed, comfortable room and a very friendly staff made it a very lively venue. My wife and I were there for a Linguistic Conference...and the accommodations met all of our expectations. The next time we return to the Washington DC area...we will stay here. Regards... Jim & Olga

“Not convienient!”

I guess I didn't realize when I booked this hotel that it was actually the hospital hotel. It was extremely hard to find and the entrance and parking garage are disgusting. The staff was friendly but not very helpful and there is no concierge. The rooms were clean. It was also close to impossible to get a taxi and the hotel is almost out of walking distance to the shops in Georgetown. The campus is beautiful but unless you are staying in the hotel for something hospital related I don't reccomend it at all. We won't be back.

Area recommendations
Georgetown is nice but try to book a hotel as close to M street as possible.

“tiggers”

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THE ROMMS WERE CLEAN, QUIET AND COMFORTABLE. OUTSTANDING SERVICE WAS RECEIVED FROM THE STAFF. BUT WE WOULD LIKE TO ESPECIALLY COMMEND ONE MEMEBER IN PARTICULAR, AVON, WHO WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. IF MY FRIENDS AND I ATTEND DC FASHION WEEK NEXT YEAR, THIS HOTEL WOULD DEFINITELY BE CONSIDERED.

“Best place to stay in Georgetown!”

We have stayed in other hotels in and around Georgetown, but this is the best! It is fun to be connected to campus life, and the surrounding neighborhood is a fun and beautiful walk. It is located in the best part of Georgetown, with Dean and Deluca's, Georgetown Cupcakes and Thomas Sweets all close by and an easy walk too. We will stay there anytime we are in DC from now on. Hotel staff is very accommodating and helpful.

“Great Place to Stay in DC”

I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Georgetown University Hotel. The staff were courteous and professional. My room was very spacious, well-equipped and immaculately clean. My room 507 was really large and truly spotless with none of that funky hotel room mustiness. The hotel provides an ironing board, hairdryer, good soap and shampoo, a fridge, and cable TV. A fantastic experience. Hope that the facility will continue to maintain such high standards, since it's a real gem. My only disappointment was the ten bucks that they charge for wireless internet access, though one of the staff very kindly comped my access, therefore I'd say my experience with this hotel was flawless.
