“Good Bargain - Drive to DC From Here And Save $$$$$”

This Hotel is a value for its price. Clean and quiet and best of all it is a easy drive of 30 minutes to DC or even better drive to a nearby train station and park and take the train to DC!

“Excellent stay, have made it a point to choose this hotel when we're in the area.”

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, arranged rooms to benear one another for us. Quality of rooms is excellenst and $10 continental breakfast is really a buffet of good quality. When you get the breakfast, don't bother ordering juce seperately as you get as much as you can drink from the dispensors near the pastries. Free Wifi was great for my teenagers that all brought their laptops and did homework when not relaxing. Pool hours are limited, so pay attention to when you can visit indoor pool if you brought a suit. Hot tub is noce in pool area.

“Excellent Value”

The staff was competent. The condition of the hotel was very good. The Wi Fi was free. The restaurant was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was great and reasonably priced. I will be using this Hotel again.

“OK 2.5 STAR”

An OK accommodation in the College Park, MD area, but not a 3 star level. The lobby and hallway areas are somewhat run down, the room was in better shape. The furniture in the room was rather worn and wobbly. Service was good.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

The purpose of my stay was just to get away for some quiet time. I live in the DC/MD/VA metropolitan area, and I didn't want to drive too far outside of the city. When I went online to choose a hotel, I saw that the Holiday Inn College Park was convenient; plus, from the photos, it looked pretty decent. The description said that it was near Ikea, which I love. Little did I know that the hotel sits on the same property as Ikea...very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly. I honestly didn't need much from the hotel. All I wanted was a clean, quiet room. My king-sized bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I've stayed in some hotels that were a horror. But, I was pleasantly surprised all the way around. I actually extended my stay an extra day. Also, COSTCO is a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is located just off the beltway and is on a fairly busy main street. I was ok with that, but if you prefer something outsidethe city limits, this may not be for you. It was convenient to other restaurants. There is a WAWA about one-minute's drive.

“Great customer service”

We arrived late at night due to our late plane. Everyone was very nice. We are vegans so I asked about local grocery stores and restaurants and their ability to meet vegan needs and the clerk got right to work, found some places for us and even printed out directions for us. While I was waiting a very angry man who had just checked in came back to the front desk, very belligerent and rude. The staff handled him very well, with a smile on their face and met his demands. I was very impressed. The only downfall to this hotel was its location to the sites in DC. We were very far away otherwise I would return.

“Very good overnight stay.”

Was only there for an overnight stay. Room was very clean and comfy. There was a pull out couch in the room with our queen bed, but our son (7) used the blow up mattress we bought.

i ended up staying only one night and went to the hampton inn next door- much nicer hotel and room!!!!
