Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, arranged rooms to benear one another for us. Quality of rooms is excellenst and $10 continental breakfast is really a buffet of good quality. When you get the breakfast, don't bother ordering juce seperately as you get as much as you can drink from the dispensors near the pastries. Free Wifi was great for my teenagers that all brought their laptops and did homework when not relaxing. Pool hours are limited, so pay attention to when you can visit indoor pool if you brought a suit. Hot tub is noce in pool area.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn because of the area. Now when I not at home I am at the Holiday Inn. The staff treat you with respect they always ask and make sure you are fine and make you feel there is no other place you would want to stay.

The purpose of my stay was just to get away for some quiet time. I live in the DC/MD/VA metropolitan area, and I didn't want to drive too far outside of the city. When I went online to choose a hotel, I saw that the Holiday Inn College Park was convenient; plus, from the photos, it looked pretty decent. The description said that it was near Ikea, which I love. Little did I know that the hotel sits on the same property as Ikea...very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly. I honestly didn't need much from the hotel. All I wanted was a clean, quiet room. My king-sized bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I've stayed in some hotels that were a horror. But, I was pleasantly surprised all the way around. I actually extended my stay an extra day. Also, COSTCO is a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is located just off the beltway and is on a fairly busy main street. I was ok with that, but if you prefer something outsidethe city limits, this may not be for you. It was convenient to other restaurants. There is a WAWA about one-minute's drive.
