Location: Easy access to the Metro subway.
The complimentary shuttle service to (and from) the Washington Metro Greenbelt station was a welcomed extra service particularly coupled with the great home rate.. It cemented my choice of accommodations in the subject area.

Just a Place to Stay

Pros: It was close to where our event was.
Cons: I think dining room needed to be more organized and the food service quicker.
Location: The New Deal Cafe is a great place for dinner/music with many friendly patrons.
If you are looking for a place to stay to sleep, this hotel is fine. The front desk was pleasant as was the waitstaff but the breakfast service was extremely slow from the kitchen although there weren't many people dining. The food was very decent though. The room was pleasant enough, and surface clean, but there was evidence of past spills on furniture and a bar of soap left in the shower that led me to feel it wasn't really clean. This hotel was fine for a one night stay. Nothing particularly special.

Smells bad, out dated

Check-in was slow. Room and hotel had bad smell. Bathroom was... not ok. All around just not good. Don't stay here.

Hôtel correct, lits très confortables, vieillot

Pros: Rien de déplorable mais rien non plus d'enthousiasmant dans cet hôtel.
Cons: La climatisation est vraiment bruyante (sauf pour les chambres côté autoroute qui domine alors le sujet)
La première nuit la chambre était côté autoroute donc très bruyante. Mais le changement a pu être fait sans problème. Les lits sont agréables mais la décoration est un peu vieillote et le petit déjeuner n'offre pas un choix très large (le thé est du lipton jaune ou du lipton jaune par exemple).

Slow Start

Everything was great up to the morning of our checkout, that there was no Continental Breakfast. Not the way to start the day for the guest or to leave a lasting impression. Just Saying.

Dear Charles Thank you for your comments, we are very sorry that there was not a complimentary continental breakfast, our restaurant serves a breakfast buffet every morning for $9.99 per person. This is not something that we as a Holiday Inn offer. However, there are rate packages that do include breakfast. Thank you for being our guest, we are glad that you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

Had to appear in court in Maryland. Spent 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel not going to court but that turned out excellent also..

Not up to par

Cons: Needs a facelift for sure. Condition and cleanliness if bathroom were definitely disappointing. Definitely NOT the 3 or 3.5 stars awarded it.
It was a quick stay, but I expect better from this brand.
