Hôtel bien situé

Posted May 22, 2015
Hôtel vieillot, accueil impersonnel et assez froid. Heureusement qu'on n'y fait que dormir. Gros point fort : extrêmement bien situé. Seule raison pour laquelle je le conseillerais.

Fantastic location. Delivered small fridge to room. Very quiet. Good wifi. Very old rooms. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Room was very dark. Heater didn't work.

Worst Hotel Room Experience of My Life

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location. Staff.
Cons: Mattress in room
Location: Monuments, museums, restaurants, theaters
Pros: - Location. - Early check in was not a problem. - Numerous quality restaurants are within walking distance. - Nice staff. Cons: - Smallest hotel room I have stayed in. - Window view was of a brick wall. - Very dated. Room was on 11th floor. Straight out of the 1950's. Not in a good way. - Also from the 1950's was the mattress. Most uncomfortable mattress I have ever tried to sleep on. So bowed in the middle I had to hold the side of the mattress to keep from rolling into the middle of the bed. And lumpy. Went to bed at 10:00 pm. At 1:00 am I gave up trying to sleep on the bed. I placed the comforter on the floor and slept on the floor. It was too late, and I was too tired to call and change rooms. Because of the mattress quality problem, and sleeping on the floor, my neck and back were extremely painful the next day, so we cut our trip short and headed home.

If you don't care about the size or condition of your room, you can't beat the price or location.

Pros: Location. Price.
Location: Just look at the map of the city. There are tons of museums and galleries within a ten minute walk
Reasonably priced hotel in first rate location in a city which is VERY expensive. A little old - fashioned but value for money.

Definitely 100 Years Old

Pros: Harry's was charming and friendly and a fantastic respite to being on your feet touring all day. Its location was by far its best attribute...two blo
Cons: New Carpet, New Paint, hide the wires in the rooms.
Location: White House, National Mall, Verizon Center, all things D.C. is known for.
The outside was so promising, but the moment you walk in to the lobby it was painfully outdated and smelled of stale smoke from a century of smoking. The room---very outdated and stale smelling, but with a brand new flat screen TV. We opened up the window and sprayed perfume to make the smell tolerable. The tiny bathroom had the bare basics, but the beds were clean and comfortable and we slept hard for 10 hours, which was why we needed a room in downtown D.C. in the first place.

Pros: nothing
Cons: cleanliness; improved check-in process; if a big bus drops off a large group - set up a process to do them and free up another person to check in othe
very long time to get checked in; tiny cramped room; tiny bathrooms, tiny beds; lots of dust in hallway fixtures, etc.

Cant beat the location.

Rooms are old and small. Shower head was more like a hose than a shower. Temperature control was iffy. The location was great and near all the main attractions and close to the subway. Parking was good with $17/day for a parking garage located a block away. The room served well for a place to crash.
