“I'll be back”

A greatly satisfying 3-night stay. Hip interior, pleasant (and efficient) staff, and comfortable, updated rooms which felt larger than they probably are. The bar/restaurant didn't seem to be very busy, so I'm not sure what the scene is there. But the complimentary wine tasting (and morning coffee) are definite perks. Its location is for the most part terrific--an easy walk to DuPont Circle, or to shops, supermarkets, etc. on P street. Biggest drawback? 16th Street. It can be very loud at rush hour. So if you plan to sleep in, request a room off the street. Which I will certainly do, next time.

What a great staff, everyone had smiles and we arrived at midnight. I really didn't expect to much because of the price but was very surprised to see everything was clean and the rooms were awesome my kids loved it. It's 3 blocks from subway and walking distance from white house, very quiet neighborhood, we had a great time. I would really recommend this hotel, and THANK YOU HOTEL STAFF YOU WERE AWESOME!

“Really Nice!”

I had a great stay at the Hotel Rouge. I asked for a room with a view on a pet-free floor and got a great space. All the staff was polite and friendly. Romina, in particular, was wonderful--great energy. There was morning coffee, afternoon apples and wine in late afternoon. I would absolutely recommend the hotel.

“King bunk bed room is awesome”

The only issue for us is when we arrived, having booked with Expedia, the receptionist did not have our reservation for the King bunk bed room. He was going to put us in a double after the first night, but luckily I had all my paperwork with me proving my online reservation, so we got the room we had booked. It was a wonderful place to stay, the kids loved their bunk bed area and we were happy with the breakfast downstairs too. Great service, lovely little extras and very helpful staff.

“Hotel Rouge - Columbus Day Weekend - Review”

Hotel Rouge, along with all other Kimpton Hotels, is a pet friendly establishment, which was the reason we chose the hotel for the weekend. The decor of the hotel and the rooms was great, and the special happy hour Monday-Friday was pretty awesome considering that you could just go down to the lobby for a couple minutes and have a wine or beer on the house.

Georgetown- Great place for food and shopping.

Dining

Go to Sea Catch in Georgetown for great seafood. It is on the expensive side, but if you can make their happy hour, the deals on the raw oysters are great. Best oysters I have had in my life!

“Well maintained, great location and very friendly staff”

Stayed here for business rather than the Hilton where my meetings were at - an excellent decision. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Most importantly, the location was perfect - a quick walk to my meeting in one direction and then to great neighborhoods (Logan Circle, Dupont Circle) in the other direction

“Great For young adults”

I traveled to DC from Philly to see a friend mid summer. And as a 22 yr old urban city kid I must say that this hotel was great. Very close to the Metro train and buses. 5 min cab ride from China Town. The inside of the hotel is very nice. Elagent and inviting. Gives off a very retro feeling. Room was huge. Had bunk beds in an isolated area with XBOX 360 and 3 of the latest hottest games which came in handy when my friend left me alone to go to work. :) Also 2 seperate TVs incase you interested are different from your guest. King bed was comfortable. Nice mini bar. Bar/lounge also located on ground floor. Food wasnt that great but the scence was cool. Highly recommended. Signing out from 215

I beleive this hotel was in NW. there are many restaurants and bars in the area. A lil upscale crowd but reasonable prices.
