Hotel tranquilo, bom atendimentoPosted Mar 25, 2015

Old motor hotel but cleanPosted Mar 23, 2015
Location: Easy driving access from/to the Capital Beltway expressway.
The room was clean, the heat worked well. It is an older property and is likely too small to really renovate to 2015 amenity standards, but it did the trick for our overnight, and was fair value for money spent I suppose. The breakfast was truly mediocre but this is true of many 'breakfast included' hotels in the United States. Raise the rates by $2 and serve us good coffee and whole wheat bread, please. There was some nutty commotion on the outdoor walkway at 4 a.m., a woman banging on the adjacent door screaming 'Pedro! Pedro!' It seems that he never answered. Now, this could happen in any hotel anywhere of course, but it kind of ruined our sleep. But not Pedro's.

Cons: Better breakfast selection
Location: We went to DC. College Park had a lot of dining options.
While this hotel wasn't bad by any means, I wasn't impressed. The room we stayed in was clean, bathroom was clean, didn't have any problems with management. However, it was nothing to brag about. My only real compliant was the lack of variety at breakfast. We stayed five days, and all five days the same options were served: two cereal options, oatmeal, bagels, bread. It was all very carby and no source of protein. Would recommend to people trying to stick to a budget, but if it's within means, would definitely upgrade.

Staff, location, and breakfast.Posted Mar 12, 2015
Staff attempted to be helpful but some members had difficulty with the English language. Without a car or another form of transport u are pretty much stuck in a non restaurant area. Breakfast was lacking- Danish, ceral, coffee and juices.I can't say that I had a bad time here but nothing that stood out.

Cons: weather stripping on the door frame, new blankets
Facility a little aged, door had gaps around frame and light as well a cold air from outside leaked in. The room was clean, but blanket was worn and had what looked like cigarette burns.

Heating/ Cooling unit did not work right and was loud. Toilet was extremely loud when flushed. I could hear the one in the room next to mine. Took the clerk about 5 min to find me in the computer when I checked out.

Room not readyPosted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: It was cheap and fairly convenient to University of Maryland.
Cons: Needs complete ronovation. Everything is old and worn.
Location: University of Maryland.
Arrived at 4pm and checked in. Went to room and it was not cleaned. Vacuum cleaner was still in there and all the sheets were removed from the bed. We complained about room and manager offered a different room that had two double beds. We had reserved a room with queen bed. We took the room. You could hear people talking through the walls. The view out the back was of the chain link fence with barbed wire (which was broken).
