Pros: It is quite and peaceful. The breakfast was okay.
Cons: The carpet should be clean. It is a turn off.
The carpet in the room needs to be change or clean. With the carpet so dirty it was not possible to enjoy the room. The carpet was dirty which make you feel everything not clean t

The stay was terrible!! The hotel staff and rooms were nasty!! The black guy at the front was so rude to us it was ridiculous!!!

Muss nicht noch einmal sein

Das Hotel könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Am zweiten Abend lies sich das Zimmer nicht mehr Verschliessen. Der Shuttle Service zur Metro war allerdings voll OK.

Nice hotel, convenient location

Stayed here to be close to DC. Hotel had a shuttle to the train making it easy to tour DC without worrying about parking. This was supposed to be an overnight stay but we ended up extending our stay another day. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was great.

Pros: Great beds,air-conditioning & service. Very close to monorail & accommodating shuttle service
Cons: I wold do away with hot breakfast buffet and concentrate more on quality of fruit & fresh baked items
Location: Great access to all transportation in and out of cities
All employees treated us with utmost respect and made our two day schedule a great success,highly recommend this facility,thanks Cheverly Howard Johnson.

Very old hotel!

Hotel needs to be renovated. I stayed on the main level, the carpet in the hallway smelled. The bathroom was very old and needed to be updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to be close to Washington, D.C. and saved money on the hotel. Location was not in the best neighborhood, worried driving at night trying to find a nice place to eat, should have ate at the restaurant right by the hotel.

Nice hotel for the buck!

Air conditioner needs work and bath tub and tiling needs updating. The hallways need air refreshers. Rooms are very clean! Staff is very polite!!!! Breakfast is a plus... Eggs, cereal, toast, fruit, grits, waffles... Good menu, but need a meat. Overall a great place for the price!!!! I didn't go check out the pool, so not sure if it's working.

This Hotel needs everything..PAINT WALLPAPER CLEAN

Cons: Cleanliness and an update
Location: Not far from DC
I tried two different rooms both needed a good cleaning and updating. Wallpaper was coming off the walls, there was black mold in the soap recepticale, I could go on and on. I stayed one night and checked out and cut my trip short rather than stay there. The staff was pleasant friendly and tried to be helpful. If I were you I would try to find a different hotel. This is not a 3 star hotel. My view 1 or 2 stars.

Outdated/ Smelly Hotel

This hotel did not meet ALL my exceptions. The property is very outdated and the room(s) had a musty-like odor; like mildew and mold. In my opinion, the property seems unsafe to me because there were random people walking from one end of the property to the other end. In addition, the main gate closes at 11pm at nights which even raise more suspicion about guess safety. But there was secondary entrance I could have used in the the event I arrived after 11pm at nights. Overall this hotel provided the accommodation I needed while visiting the DC/ Maryland area and the contential breakfast had a wide selection to chose from.

We appreciate your honest feedback and thank you for giving us a fair chance. We take guest safety very seriously and thank you for bringing this to our attention but we do feel we are in a safe area. The people walking may have been employees, vendors or other guests, we also have security monitor the hotel and lot after hours. The back gate closes at 11 pm for our guests continued comfort so large trucks and cars don't cut through the lot and cause extra noise. I am sorry you were disappointed and the hotel did not meet your expectations.
